Berrios will stick regardless. We will give Powell a call. I think he sticks because he's an EE. Not sure on Heurtelou.

CaneSport.com is reporting that Golden has been offered the head-coaching job with the Nittany Lions. More importantly if you’re a fan of either program, Golden is expected to accept the offer, the Rivals.com website reported.

Penn State: Miami (FL)'s Rivals site reports Al Golden has been offered the Penn State job. CoachingSearch has not confirmed this information. In fact, I find this hard to believe, considering the timing. PennLive's David Jones reports no one has been offered the job.

I find it fascinating with the rumors of Franklin knowing of the rape incident at Vandy (even just a little teeny tiny amount of smoke) that Penn St of all schools would even CONSIDER him just based on potential fall out...

Off topic and I love Butch, but anyone who bashed UT's interest in Golden last year should admit their expertise is questionable. Guy is a very good, and potentially great, coach.

Smoke screen name. Franklin does not fit into the (non-scandal) culture of PSU. Blue collar, low key and old school. Would be comparable to the Rich Rod/UM hire.

I just find it hard to believe anyone would offer him a high profile job since he hasn't actually had a quality win.

Him and his wife are both graduates from PSU. Who knows where his family feels is the best choice? But I'm betting South beach isn't it.

If I'm Golden I stay in MIA. Especially with a top 5 recruiting class lined up. If Golden goes to PSU, his career is over.....
