Potpourri

Rooster, forget about today's game......You guys are still aces with the SEC.....
Here's our favorite gal....

Thx GT, I am actually happy for the Bruin ladies tonight, I think they were the best team all season in hindsight and it’s a good story with their five seniors. I suppose as we get older we have better perspective on these things. I raised a glass to their performance tonight amongst friends and family, they were spectacular.

*oh btw GT, thx for another Barbara Eden clip, always appreciated my friend.

Barbara Eden… always welcome in my spa …

We've all lost so many wonderful friends, that we never actually met, but knew them so well, from a movie screen in a dark theater somewhere in America....

I must admit, I choked up a little at the sight of some of these legends, that have left us behind and have gone on to be in the presence of God....I will always be thankful for who they were to me.

This is a ruff one....

So, who would like a new to you 2004 Chevy Silverado? It has the 5.3 vortec V8 engine, automatic trans. Extended cab. @ 155k on the odometer. I won't be needing mine much longer and want it to go to a good home. I've put about 5k in upgrades into it the past few months, paint, radio, headliner replaced, etc etc etc.. Have a date this coming Weds to have the Ac checked out for the summer heat to come. It still works but I want it to be checked out and topped off if needed. Plus they'll advise me on anything else due attention or service.. I have a great mechanic shop we use. Has a nice cap over the rear bed so it has never been hurt by weather... It's worth nothing to hear the car dealer's talk but I won't lie.. It's a nice truck and I'd take $9,000 or I'll just give it to one of my kids.. The only item it shows on the dash is a service airbag warning and that is for a front impact sensor. I refuse to pay the rediculous price they ask for a new one. that alert has been showing on the truck for the past 10 years... heh. I replaced the sensor with a ebay special one last month and it still didn't fix it so I say to hell with it.

@gule , you should post a pic of it here.

Gule, sounds like a nice truck. In this used car market you will probably not have a problem selling.

As a third vehicle, I bought a 2004 Honda Pilot with 98k on the odometer. It was owned by a couple and used mainly for errands, church, etc. You could tell it was garage kept.
