Little Wifey just came in to my hangout room to tell me that we are stuck taking care of our grand dogs and cats for another week. :(

Seems that since our little dog passed our daughter thinks we are lonely and brought her mutts down for us to keep while she went to France. That was fine for a few days but then the next week she sent them down again and took off on a visit to see her brother in Wash state. And she brought her husbands best buddy's large dog down too.so that they could take off to go to a golfing adventure in California. Her hubby came back home today, dropped off his golf clothes and grabbed another bag to head back to the airport to go to work He is a plant/facilities manager for some big company and oversees several locations around the country.

My damn gripe is, if they want to have pets they need to be home to take care of them. I'm getting fed up with irresponsible 30 yo's taking advantage of their family elders.

There is a bright spot in today's Gule news.

Our one and only son who took a new job in Washington state last November is doing very well and is now up for a promotion according to the Wifey. He has a choice of two -positions. One would have him traveling all the time and having to leave his live in gf and dog several days a week and the other would be always in house at the home office location 5 minutes from his apartment. I know which one I'd take. Nothing like sleeping in yer own bed!!!! and earning $300k as a 26 yo.
