I have a general recruiting question. When my son was being recruited In high school, you would see a lot of claims from other players saying that they were being recruited or had been offered by one school or another. I found out that a college or university couldn’t confirm or deny a claim unless an official offer was made and published during the open recruiting period
Does this hold true today? Of course if there are photos to confirm a student’s claims it’s a given. Of course it was different before the internet. Many claims were made to local media only. And not easy for it to be confirmed. Do the same problems exist today? Can all claims be believed?

Well damn! The old Gule went to an Eyeglass shop yesterday instead of my regular optometrist because all I wanted was new glasses because my old ones were broken. while there, they tested the pressures in the eyes and did all the things they needed to do I guess. So, I come back home , eat supper and go to bed. Now I'm up early at 2 am, right eye is hurting, blurry as heck and Visine is not helping to clear away whatever is causing the problem. 3 years ago I had cataract surgery on that eye and I think somehow the eye pressure test where they blow a blast of air against it must have re-positioned the new lense that was installed then. All I know is that something is all the hell messed up right now.
