Potential Staff for Gruden (Hypothetically)

Has Tee shown any interest in coming to Tennessee? Could have done so years ago I thought and he blew us off. Doesn't he and his wife enjoy life out there at USC?

I think his wife still aspires to be a singing sensation and the producers and recording studios she feels comfortable with are out there.

If Tee wanted to coach here, I would be all for it, but I don't think it will happen.

Would Randy Sanders take a demotion to leave Florida State?

Randy Sanders coached one, and one ONLY good game for UT, and that was our NC game. He is not welcome back in Ktown. He was the #1 reason Fulmer was let go as he totally had no clue how to utilize his talent on the field.

It wouldnt matter if youre clear or not
People hear about 1/10 of a story and go to their own conclusions
Look how people still believe kelly is a bad coach with all his NCAA "violations".
Kendall wlould be excellent hire btw
Making kiffin look great!

Forget the violations. Even if they weren't committed, I still wouldn't want Kelly here.

But I agree Briles could make a good hire. He is taking a lot of guilt by association right now, but he is still a good coach and fewer people will be laying that at his feet in time.

Sanders has a ton of Sec experience as well as FSU recruiting in the State of Florida. Remember Randall Cobb? Sanders had him locked up for Kentucky early and the Vols missed a great one. Don't sell Randy short with the old comparisons with Cutcliffe. Sanders is a very solid coach.

I am the most concerned with who would be the OL coach and DC. Without a stout, physical OL and a good defense, you are absolutely screwed in the SEC.

Why bring in Fair? Tennessee already has one of if not the best secondary coach in the country.

Kacy Rodgers will likely be looking for work at the end of the season. Bowles will either scapegoat him or the Jets will clean house...again. He won’t get another NFL DC job for a while so really the issue is whether SEC DC is a demotion from NFL position coach.

Isn’t Bob Shoop’s buyout pretty big also? I’m guessing the next coach will keep him and let him do a better job of choosing staff.

Could easily see Chief being brought in as DL or LB coach if he wants.
