Can we just get a thread for potential AD names? Danny White is an idiot who was playing with house money 2 years ago and made a rash decision. I feel bad for Caldwell, it’s not her fault. What D2 coach would say no to Tennessee and a million dollars per year?

I know that obviously. But she’s a D2 system coach. D2 head coach for 7 years and a low D1 head coach for 1. She’s a D2 coach. It’s not hate for her, just realistic.

My point is Danny White jumped the gun to try to make his mark at UT. Now he’s making it.

He had his supporters on this board but they weren't aware of his delusional stalking behavior and the real problems it caused.

I am guessing the Panera meeting was that he recognized some AD staff person having lunch and immediately went full delusion right on the spot.

I’ve been holding him to the fire on it for years. A lot of people hadn’t been around long enough to remember. Dude is a grade A creep. Holly had to have him banned from campus.

Not gonna lie…as serious as this is I chuckled when I read that 4 were at RISK to graduation. They’re in college. People graduate. But from his perview this is a RISK! Lmao. Maybe he was going to hold them hostage?

This highlights an interesting point. Shea at Vanderbilt and Kara at Duke are both at high performing academic institutions. I am guessing that there are benefits to being at that type of school. Any kid that can actually get enrolled is probably pretty smart and used to balancing basketball and school. Probably personally disciplined. Having said that most female basketball players are good students. The LVs always have a high GPA for example.
I do think there is a small recruiting advantage in coaching at those schools. You have a good player who either doesn’t think they can play in the WNBA or wants to go to law school or medical school they will give those schools an extra look.

She was at UConn as an assist coach for 13 years before coming to Vandie. Her husband Tim Garrick was a head coach at UMass-Lowell before coming to VU. He was also an assist coach at Vandie from 2009 to 2015. So I don't think he'll be block to their dream job.

One of the more predictable characters on every fan forum is the one who takes the trouble to log in just to tell you they would never take the trouble to log in. Except to ridicule the conversation they just interrupted.

I often wonder if these folks would walk up to people in real life who are having a conversation and say "your conversation is really stupid and I'm only listening to make myself laugh".

What an asinine nitwit.
