If these two teams make it to the BCS championship it could be a scoring fest of epic proportions.

I'll pick a score when both teams get through their finale rivalry games with a W. Lot of football left to be played.

That being said, I think it'd be a barn burner of a shoot out.

IF these two teams were pitted against each other in the title game, the score would something like 49-42.

Of course it would go against logic and be a 20-17 final.

Somebody here on VN (don't remember who) said that they could see Oregon/Auburn being one of those highly touted offensive games where the teams have a month to prepare and it ends up being a surprisingly defensive game. It wouldn't shock me to see it happen.

It's going to be a bama Oregon championship game.

Auburn has one great player.

Not sure about Bama, but definately not Auburn. Bama will be there if the SEC is represented.

Im amazed at how Auburns being a bit above average other than Cam has been glossed over.

I think it'll be Oregon vs. the winner of the Iron Bowl for the Title but if the SEC doesn't get represented and get a team into the BCSCG then who plays Oregon? Boise State? TCU? Utah?

All I know is this. The Ducks don't want to play a Nick Saban coached team with a month to prepare. They'd have a much better chance at Auburn, who I think they could beat.

Agreed. I would much rather play Auburn then Alabama, but I think they'll stumble in Tuscaloosa... hope I'm wrong.

I would think that the TCU/Utah winner would jump Boise, Blue field or not.

You think it would take Oregon 8 overtimes to score 97 points against Auburn? Hell, they might score 60 in the first half.

I was only being sarcastic with the score :)

I think it would be a really high-scoring game though.

It seems most Auburn fans I talk to realize that it's a one man show, but so far, nobody can stop that one man. Bama has more talent, but not sure they're built to stop a team like Auburn. They can just score too fast.

Bama's D is a perfect match-up for what Auburn does on O.

However, Cam Newton could pull his superman routine and singlehandedly carry Auburn to a W.

I don't see it though.
