Isn't Chaney a former Oline coach? since UT will be paying him 1 mil...Two most important staff hires imo.
1. Strength and conditioning coach. This is absolutely vital and could be an area where Heupel may struggle. Does he or White have any connections to land a really good one? Remains to be seen.
2. Offensive line coach. Another vital hire. Hopefully White has allocated Heupel whatever funds necessary to find good coaches. We need a really good OL coach.
Ansley is in the NFL now isn't he?Here's my take:
Head Coach, playcaller, QBs- Josh Heupel
Assist HC/OL- Glen Elarbee
Co-Offensive Cord/Tight Ends- Alex Golesh
Co-Offensive Cord/Wide Receivers - Zach Azzanni or Darrell Wyatt
Running Backs- Monario Hardesty
Co-Def. Cord./LB- Kevin Steele
Co-Def. Cord/Secondary- Ansley
Defensive Line/RC - Rodney Garner
Assist HC/CBs - Travaris Robinson
STC- Nick Toth
Sounds good and all but WTF is a TE?Hearing that Heupel may be bringing his CO-OC/ TE Coach - Alex Golesh.. if true this would be big time, before UCF he was the recruiting coordinator and TE Coach at Iowa where he was responsible for the tight end factory they've become over the past several years. Could help us in pursuit of Arik Gilbert.
Also heard he may bring his OLCoach - Glen Elarbe. There OL has been pretty good, but SEC is different level for sure. But he has Purdue background and big 10 typically has history of good lines of scrimmage
