Potential coaching staff for Heupel

Hearing that Heupel may be bringing his CO-OC/ TE Coach - Alex Golesh.. if true this would be big time, before UCF he was the recruiting coordinator and TE Coach at Iowa where he was responsible for the tight end factory they've become over the past several years. Could help us in pursuit of Arik Gilbert.

Also heard he may bring his OLCoach - Glen Elarbe. There OL has been pretty good, but SEC is different level for sure. But he has Purdue background and big 10 typically has history of good lines of scrimmage
Also SEC...at Mizzou.

Osovet was interviewing for WR coach at UCF before Pruitt was fired. Move Osovet to WR, let Tee's contract expire and hire recently retired Jason Witten as TE coach. I believe he has gotten the TV commentator out of his system. Just a thought.

Thanks, I couldn't what position it was.

And I love Witten, but not sure if I want to bring him on as TE coach, especially considering it's very likely JH will bring Golesh from UCF, Who is the reason/builder of TE factory at Iowa. Before he came to UCF.

I think we will be fine on offense. I really want to know the D. I would prefer that Steele stay, Garner come to coach DL, Simon on LB and Steele and Heupel know plenty of coaches for DB.

Head Coach- Josh Heupel

Offensive Cord./QB- Jeff Lebby

Co-Def. Cord./ILB- Kevin Steele
Co-Def. Cord/OLB- Randy Shannon

Running Backs/RC- Jay Graham

Wide Receivers/Asst. HC- Tee Martin

Tight Ends - Jon Cooper

Offensive Line - Ed Warniner

Defensive Line - Rodney Garner

Secondary - Willie Martinez

STC- Nick Toth

Hell no to Willie Martinez. He's the worst secondary coach in college football!

what is he going to do with Chaney and Steele? Chaney is getting paid a lot of money not to be OC, but I do not see Heupel allowing Chaney to run the offense.
Chaney will probably get work elsewhere to offset some or all of the buyout

Two most important staff hires imo.

1. Strength and conditioning coach. This is absolutely vital and could be an area where Heupel may struggle. Does he or White have any connections to land a really good one? Remains to be seen.

2. Offensive line coach. Another vital hire. Hopefully White has allocated Heupel whatever funds necessary to find good coaches. We need a really good OL coach.

Just bring Ellarbe with him. Mizzou’s former OL coach.

There should be plenty of money left on the good ole Centurion card. Get it done.
