Head Coach- Josh Heupel

Offensive Cord./QB- Jeff Lebby

Co-Def. Cord./ILB- Kevin Steele
Co-Def. Cord/OLB- Randy Shannon

Running Backs/RC- Jay Graham

Wide Receivers/Asst. HC- Tee Martin

Tight Ends - Jon Cooper

Offensive Line - Ed Warniner

Defensive Line - Rodney Garner

Secondary - Willie Martinez

STC- Nick Toth

Hearing that Heupel may be bringing his CO-OC/ TE Coach - Alex Golesh.. if true this would be big time, before UCF he was the recruiting coordinator and TE Coach at Iowa where he was responsible for the tight end factory they've become over the past several years. Could help us in pursuit of Arik Gilbert.

Also heard he may bring his OLCoach - Glen Elarbe. There OL has been pretty good, but SEC is different level for sure. But he has Purdue background and big 10 typically has history of good lines of scrimmage

I would guess those two or even keeping Chaney just might lock up Ty Simpson.

Jason Witten retired today. How about adding him to the staff? Apparently he is considering coaching opportunities as his next career move.
Why would he coach when he has a tv job waiting on him that pays a lot more and is less demanding?

Maybe he would make a better coach than a commentator. He wasn't exactly Tony Romo IMO. Maybe he would prefer coaching. Who knows? He was a pretty darn good TE. Maybe he would be a good teacher on the field.

He unretired to go back to the NFL after his broadcast gig didn't get great reviews. My guess is he wants to get into coaching. When Jerry re-hired him in Dallas it was to be a player/coach I thought.

OC/OL Cheney
QB/Passing Game Coordinator Ozovet
WR - ??? Maybe a recruiter here
TE - ???
RB Graham

DC Steele
DL Garner
LB ???? Coach/Developer
DB ??? Coach/Developer

I would part amicably with Tee. I imagine Heupel and Ozofet would develop the game plan then hand it to Cheney trusting that he will put it out on the field.

Given their philosophies I would think JH would want to keep him and he would want to stay. He needs a bigger role.

As long as he can blend his philosophies with the head coach, you would think it would be a great fit. It shouldn't take Heupel long to decide since he's already interviewed him.

You must not know why he went back into playing. He was hated as an analyst and was going to keep that job. He did say he was considering coaching.

Elarbee has coached in the SEC at Missouri so I think he'll be alright. He's been a part of several high profile offenses over the years. Golesh is a must get. Big time recruiter. Good developer as well. I'll take the QB coach as well if we want him, but he might just move Osovet to QBs. I'm not sure what Osovet interviewed for at UCF earlier.

- Lebby isnt coming. Just signed a new 2 year contract
- Graham leaving going to Bama
- Tee doesnt seem to want to be here and he didnt do much from what I saw

Other than that I like it for the most part.

Great point I forgot he was at MZ, And I'm really hoping we get Golesh, big time get if we can bring him along.

I think Osovet was WR or running back I can't remember

Honestly I’m not sure how many you want to keep from the previous regime. Steele wasn’t here so maybe he’s an option.

Anyone heard anything definitive yet about Chaney?? As in:

* 100% positive he's gone
* 100% positive he might stay?
* 100% positive he ate his office?

Osovet was interviewing for WR coach at UCF before Pruitt was fired. Move Osovet to WR, let Tee's contract expire and hire recently retired Jason Witten as TE coach. I believe he has gotten the TV commentator out of his system. Just a thought.
