Potential coaching replacements

Get Jim Leavitt. Nick Saban already ran his mouth off about this guy taking kids that Florida and FSU wouldn't qualify. He hates the bama coach like the rest of us and he can flat out coach. Besides, he wouldn't have to take those kids if he were at UT. I doubt he leaves South Florida though.

We don't need a coach that has bitter beer face.

Did Leavitt suddenly forget how to coach at Rutgers? I forgot that Rutgers is such an intimadating and scary place to play though.

I heard he really loves the hush puppies at Buddy's BBQ - that's the sign people. He's coming.

You're right, lets get Pete Carroll. Oh yeah, he lost to Stanford so he must suck too. Greg Schiano is a great coach at Rutgers and they are a good team.

there was sarcasm intended. Rutgers, USF are both jokes IMO....Granted leavitt has did a good job bringing USF on the map, but look at the conference they play in....

Rutgers lines up and crams the ball down people's throats. Ray Rice is a future pro bowler in the NFL. Rutgers is a pretty good team.

USF's D shut down WVU's O the past two seasons. They also beat down a Louisville team a couple of seasons ago. USF is pretty damn good as well.

Look, I don't think Rutgers is a BCS team but they are a good team. They had a huge year in 2006 and they beat South Florida this year. I mean good as in it wasn't a major upset losing to them. They are ranked in the AP poll but I agree the conference isn't on par with the SEC.

that was the most boring game I have ever watched....there is no way that USF should have been the #2 team in the nation....Rutgers has a good running back I will give you that, but thats all they have.....USF IMHO should not even be a top 15 team, they got lucky on AU and I think we all would agree that if that game was played 10 more times AU would win at least 8 of them....But thats the way CFB goes....

Tuberville is certainly a better option than some of these dopes people keep throwing out there. i.e. Gruden, Kelly, Leavitt, Grobe, etc.

Tubby replacing Fulmer would be a huge mistake. Tubby is the most successful coach to not have ever won anything of any significance. Auburn fans would love to see him go, Im just suprised to see someone else willing to have him

Tubberville is a good coach, but I would not want him in Knoxville. Too many letdowns against lesser opponents, and too many stupid decisions in clutch situations. If it weren't for those two things, he would be perfect.

I think "ears" is a good coach, hes coached the best team in Alabama for awhile and the war eagles or tigers whatever the hell they are....are always in the thick of the sec west...

Arguing Auburn over Tennessee program wise is like arguing that a coach would go to WVU over Miami or FSU because WVU is better now. Or go to Cal over Michigan right now since Cal has been doing a little better lately. Under your logic, I guess Les Miles will stay at LSU and not go to Michigan since LSU is ranked higher then Michigan right now.

Tennessee has 2x the fanbase of Auburn and Auburn is second rate in Alabama behind the Tide. Tide still has more fans and has 12 national titles compared to Auburn's 3 or 4.
