In light of the smattering of threads that involve the conversations between facebook friends, I have decided to post a poll.

I would NEVER under any circumstances post a conversation from one of my friends on Facebook...of course, I don't have a Facebook account, so that makes the temptation easier to resist.

Ah, depends. Most the time the akward type. I have been guilty of posting one where I spoke very briefly to Chris Walker. I said about a 5 times as many things as he dude...his was like "sup" and "thanks man". Mine was along the lines of "yada yada yada, I have no life"

Then there was a recent one where i spoke to Corey Miller and his was worth the post because of a certain situation I felt compelled everyone should know. To send out prayers. That one was appropriate.

Most of the time though I wouldn't recommend it.

So Ill go with that was akward.

The sad thing is I remember when facebook was just for college students. In the last year its become way to much to handle for many people. Do yourself a favor and delete it.

If I want someone to know what I'm doing, Ill call or text them. Plus I can't go out to a party without some ******* saying "This is going on facebook"

When you go to that job interview...chances are someone internal will find you on facebook. I dont want people seeing me hot tubbing with skanks, and holding bloddy fish up, and half naked in bed with ex g/fs.

I personally think it is weird, but what do I know. If the poster was naive enough to put it on his or her comment wall, it technically is public information after they post it. But as a public forum as we clearly are I think we should kinda steer clear from doing it. Yet the fact still remains it is public information after they post it.

Facebook should be for college students ONLY. Money is what made this for "Everyone with an email address". What a joke.

The people stalking football players needs to stop though.

Yeah, Facebook used to be a convenient way to keep track of classmates and exchange notes... now it's become a slightly more impersonal version of MySpace. It signed it's own death warrant when it went public, it won't last whenever Apple or Microsoft get into the Social Networking business because it's no longer offering something unique.

I've chatted with Chris Walker before, but I also went to HS with him...

I also wouldn't post a conversation I had with him. That just seems kinda awkward.

I suppose the main thing is what the content of the convo was. But really don't ever post the word for word convo. That would be wrong to some people. If talking to them anyway, just ask them if it is ok to post a Cliff's notes version of the good part as long as it is something that wouldn't be considered personal. As far as the Miller thread asking for prayers no problem.

And now...in the afterglow you feel shortchanged.....a cheapened version even in your own mind let alone what you perceive are in others minds about your....participation. Geez...don't it suck to realize you are just one in the masses?

If you post a privat conversation on a public board, that is crossing the line. It's kinda weird to just start a conversation with someone you don't really know.
