The LVs have not been in UConn's league since the CP3-Hornbuckle years so beating Geno may not be a reasonable benchmark.

I would suggest a return to the final 4 is the better litmus test for the program at this point in time.

Overall, you have to pleased with the improvement that the team has shown since its TX low point. Having Izzy back (and healthy) is a big boost but the team's overall intensity and level of play is on upward tick.

I am looking forward to seeing how they hold together once the SEC gets going in earnest. So bring on Mizz...
