There was some old guy whose posts I used to enjoy. I think his username was Marvin something. He had mentioned he was in his 80s and haven’t seen him on here in a couple years.

I feel bad, but also searched obituaries for Randy Broyles. He’s still getting after it last I saw. An OG zoner.

The mods are super sensitive about talking about it but from what I gather, yes.

DMs could be set up with a request/invitation to connect directly. Members could operate at a default no DMs, receive a request to DM from another member and accept, decline, or just ignore. One could drop or block other members at any time. I’m not sure if VN’s current platform supports that level of detail. Still, without DMs enabled, Freak’s got a lot less nanner nanner boo boo with which to deal. “Clean” may be the only way he’s willing to run VN.

It was a response to a fear VN members were being hijacked by another message board when most people involved only were interested in seeing what they had to offer not willing to totally jump ship from the flagship of Volunteerism.
