Post your first game

Still haven't been to a game yet. im hoping one day i will get to, i've just always watched em on TV. i haven't had the $ to spend like that either. :(

1992, first trip to Neyland, it rained, but we smoked the gators 31-14

This was supposed to have been my first game since graduation in 85, as I had just been assigned to Ft Campbell several months before. Alas, I didn't plan ahead and just expected to be able to buy a couple of tickets on the street. But, the game was sold out and there was about 1000+ of us standing on the sidewalk waving the peace sign until a few minutes before kick off. Ended up watching in a bar with a bucket of beer, some good food and totally dry, not bad but would have preferred to be in Neyland. . .:salute:

First UT game-National Championship Game versus Florida State
Only one way to go after that.

First game at Neyland-2001 versus Georgia
Georgia wins in the last seconds on a playaction pass. This comes after a screen pass to Travis Stephens to go ahead only to do a pooch kickoff which gave Georgia great field position.

Started going to games as a toddler, so I can't recall my first one. However, the first one I remember was:

Game- Tennessee vs Auburn(1987) - I was 5 years old.
Tie: 20 - 20
Ranking: #11
Bowl Game: Peach Bowl vs. Indiana
Win:27-22
Record: 10-2-1

I don't remember much about the game. However, I do remember getting spanked in the restroom my my mom because I kept kicking the guy sitting in front of us in the back.

I was all of 6 and don't remember much other than my friends dad made us leave early because it was such a blowout.

Sept 15 1990
vs UTEP (W 56-0)
Record:9-2-2
Final Ranking #7
Bowl: Sugar Bowl - beat Derek Dooley and the Virginia Cavaliers 23-22

1995 USCjr game
I recall the fake FG for a TD, but not the score.
We went to the Citrus Bowl and beat OSU, and Eddie George.

Went back to Nashville that night and watched the Braves win the world series.

2007 Tennessee @ Memphis
Win:41-7
lost in SEC Champ game to LSU
It was one of the years we beat Wisconsin in the bowl game

Vols versus UCLA 1965 in Memphis. I was 6 years old. I remember most of what happened. Vols win on a late drive and the UCLA coach (who was from Memphis) had a meltdown. Decided that day I was going to UT like my older sister who was in school at the time.

2001 Tenn vs Bama
Won 35 24.
I was only 12, and dont remember much about the game. I know they were the best seats I have ever had at Neyland. On the 50 yard line lower level. What made them even better? My dad got them for free. One thing I will always remember is a drunk lady behind me giving me a hug everytime we got a 1st down, and before you ask me I will tell you that she was old & not attractive.

I am pretty sure my first game was 1992 vs Memphis. Heath Shuler and Charlie Garner. Memphis had Isaac Bruce and Steve Matthews. My first bowl game was the 1994 Gator Bowl against Virginia Tech. I think it was still called the Gator Bowl and was played in the Swamp that year.

September 27, 2003 - South Carolina@Home

Clausen hit Banks in the endzone for a TD in OT to win 23-20. Great game on a great night to watch football. Had good seats as well.
