Don't read VolNation football forum. Most on the forum are avid fans and reasonable adults but those individuals read the forum more than they post in the forum. There is a very frustrated, vocal minority that cannot see anything positive in life, much less in the future olf UT football and they will really bring you down. Then there is an even smaller group that are just bats#!% crazy and they might actually scare you! That's All- enjoy your new job.

1. Don't pander to the fans. We can read B.S. better than anybody. (i.e. "Best staff in America" blah blah blah)
2. Hire a great staff...not just your buddies.
3. NEVER go into a McDonalds as long as you are the Head Coach here.

Put the cash in chick-fil-a bags. More classy

I'd use these! Everyone knows you needs lots dough to shop there. No suspicions whatsoever.

Proper grammar and always order biscuits with sausage gravy instead of cornbread while out in public. For your first order go to Hoskins Drug Store in Clinton and bring a photographer. Make a big deal out of this. Will fire up the fanbase more than you know

...and keep it nice ya filthy animals 😂

I'll go first

1) Don't say individuals so much. I know. It doesn't make sense. Trust me on this one.

2) We need you to have thick skin. Our last three coaches were thin skinned sensitive things, and the job ate them alive. By year three they were in the metaphorical fetal position with the fans and the media. Stay tough, you'll do well.
Win some football games... GBO!

1. Be prepared to recruit against your own fans, who will gladly funnel recruits to Clemson if it can get you fired sooner.
2. Good luck.
