Nothing interesting.

Liked the energy.

Jennings hyper extended his knee last week. Not serious, but held out of the scrimmage. Hall was also held out because they didn't think his rep count was high enough.

Ran the ball well, had trouble in pass protection.

No QBs have seperated themselves. Maintained it was still technically a 4 man race. Mixed review on the group as a whole.

Too many penalties.

Yeah, I didn't buy that part. Typical coach speak. I was hoping to hear some positives. Like the line looks better, wrs not dropping as many balls, defense is making strides

Poster that works at UT said Chryst got most of the 1st team reps today. Guess they're still letting them compete.

Not sure we are going to hear a lot of positives from Pruitt. He strikes me as the kind of coach who finds something that needs improvement after every game and talks about needing to make halftime adjustments even though he’s up 42-3. It’s about time we have that mentality here, and I hope my read on him is correct. Maybe I’m scarred from too many episodes of the Butch Jones Show where I was scratching my head at the end saying I was at Neyland and thought we lost that game.

Pruitt is one of the best evaluators in the business. I’m pretty sure they have a good idea by now who the starters will be, he is creating depth and letting the competition play out.

He didn't want to give out too much intel yet. Plus he didn't want to discourage players who are currently tracking 2-4 deep by anointing a starter.

I'm cool with that.

Sounds like the qb's were much more even today. Chryst definitely had a better day than he had this week.

Too many turnovers for Pruitt's liking. I think Guarantano held the ball too long some today.


One of the most important notes of the day, Chance Hall might get scrimmage snaps next week.

Just hope at some point we are up 42-3 at half time some day!:)

Didn't Pruitt say at one point the QB decision would be made quickly in the fall or did I dream that?
