First of all to the ones that stopped by my pre game party, good to meet you and we had some good fun. I will not mention any names since we had a good time and I don't want to get you banned from this forum

Secondly, what a game. You guys came with the battle faces on and took it to us. You played a great game and outplayed us for 58 minutes of the game. No excuses, but we were tired and yall had fresh legs, but that is how the game goes. We had to suck it up and didn't for 58 minutes. As I said last week both special teams suck, but yours cost you the game.

You will run the table the rest of the year IF you play like you did Saturday. If you have a mental let down from getting high for this game UK could be a tough game but the rest of the schedule is your for the taking.

Good luck and I will sign off till next year!

Had a great time tailgating in the "Quad" and most (not all) Bama fans were cordial and showed respect.

I hate statements like yours above though. You guys have 4 and 5* talent in the THREE deep. We have had injuries galore and very little depth. Tired legs? Get out of here with that crap............and see you next year in Neyland.

I guess you didn't finish reading...I said that how it goes, suck it up. No excuses. Also I guess all the ESPN, CBS and other media outlets are wrong as well saying they were tired. As stated before, no excuses, play the game and move on.

No, I finished reading. I actually gave you a like for your service to our country, seems to be under-appreciated by kids these days.

I have never cared for the no excuse statement when an excuse is given just before it.

That said, I hope TN fans show you guys the same respect next year in Neyland if you make it to the game. Tuscaloosa has a great setup for tailgating and the gameday atmosphere was top notch. Peace.......

TideLover, what OSVolFan said X100. Appreciate the acknowledgement that the Vols have arrived... however you have seen no excuses from this camp. Your's and Vern Numnut's comments make me sick.

We throw out the excuse every game that if X player was not hurt we would of won that game. And everyone knows that's not the reason we lost the game. At least for 3 of our 4 losses.

Lol. Tired legs. Our best O-linemen and 2 of our best D-linemen missed the game due to injury. Not to mention your 5 star freshman WR Ridley played while our 5 star freshman WR in Preston Williams was out due to injury. I could go on and on. But like you said those are excuses. Basically, you guys need to be prepared that the Bama /UT match up will not be a gimmie for Bama fans moving forward. I fully expect to beat the Tide in Neyland next year.

The same we volswin08 referenced. And you just blamed injuries for our loss in one of your posts above. It's slightly valid for Bama, but injuries are not the reason we lost the other 3 games.

It was a simple counter argument to try and shed light on how silly I thought his excuse/non-excuse was. Would it have made you feel better if I had said no excuses aftewards?

FTR - injuries galore and very little depth is not an excuse, but rather a well known fact btw.

If you want to pick a fight why don't you find someone from an enemy team to do it with....:hi:

It's not a fight...is this not a discussion website anymore? I'm confused. I simply said that we, as in we in a fanbase and you included, throw out injuries as an excuse after every game. And yes I guess a little but then you would be doing the same thing as him by throwing out an excuse and then following with the phrase no excuse. Yes it is a well known fact but it's not valid for losing 3 of our 4 games.
