A mack truck QB that has still never run an actual game against a BCS team. Several players as good as Jackson? Uh, no.

Wake up. Tebow gained 4 yards a pop last year against every defense he faced, including Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, & Ohio State. And that was as a FR. Heard of Percy Harvin, he's every bit as good as Meshawn Jax.

It doesn't make me happy to admit this. But they are going to have a field day on the D I saw tonight.

I am a PAC-10 hater with the best of them but there offense made me eat crow tonight. Ive not seen a better group on offense in all of college football. and no there is not a better offense in the SEC. Cal had tremendous speed and talent with 4 receivers, 2 good tight ends, 2 great RB's and a O-line good enough to let them all work.

LSU sure didn't impress me none. Auburn must have the worst O-line in the SEC they way Brandon Cox was getting sacked. Alabama has one or two good receivers but nothing impressive. Arkansas can run, thats it. And Florida is young but talented, ive not seen them play so i cant say what they have with any certainty. IMO from what i have seen week 1 we could have the best O in the SEC and i know we will not see a better O again this year.

You will see as good of an offense in 2 weeks.

Tebow was a second string guy all year last year. Chris Leak ran the show. I don't care what you say, Tim Tebow has not run an offense against a legit team. Period.

Well, I guess, you're right. We couldn't stop him on 3rd and 2 all night last year. But we weren't a legit defense last year either.

I hate Tebow and the gators more than anything else in college football. But I'm not getting my hopes up that we're going to stop him. Its just not going to happen, our D-line is soft. Our D still can't doesn't tackle well. That makes for a very grim picture against the gators, and Ark (McFadden) and other good offenses.

Why the hell do people think Tebow can't run an offense. He made plays at will last year when the defense knew what was coming. You're in denial.

Not only do the Vols have to defend the spread option, they have to defend the jump pass too.

He's not going to run 40 times in a game. He actually has to step up and manage a game, something he hasn't done before.

Well, I do agree with that Milo, and I respect your opinion. But I just can't set an expectation of Tebow not being a dominant QB. IMO, its in the cards, I'd rather be pleasantly surprised if he can't repeat his success from last year.

Urban Meyer's hybrid option/single wing is nothing at all like Nebraska and Air Force.

UT's defense will have an easier time with Florida than eithre of those two, unless there's reverses to Harvin.

I'm not saying we will stop Florida cold just that there 3 or 4 good players are not as good as the 11 great ones we just faced.

I do think he will be an all-SEC QB. Just not this early in the year.

No. Jackson and the rest ran circles around our guys, Forsett and Best are excellent (McFadden is good but they are one deep with an otherwise shoddy offense)... And their O-line... Well, hard to tell tonight. But I believe they are 3rd best in the Pac-10 behind USC and Oregon State.

I didn't say we will, I'm picking Georgia to pull it off. But we're capable of taking it.
Felix Jones is a very capable back compareable to Forsett and Best with D-mac being Forsett.

there are zero similarities between the kind of option air force ran and what florida will run from time to time.

It's not the style of option that gives our defense problems. It's misdirection.

I don't have any confidence in a Chavis defense against any option attack.
