Post game press conference/show

I think he meant Alabama, Georgia, Florida. Even if that's true the Vols should be 4th overall in the league not in the double digit range.

Even if that is the case we should at least he competitive with them, heck we're not anymore.

I mean we aren't even close anymore.

I just know I saw a lot of very down depressed sad people in the stand heading in the final quater. I mean what I saw was worse than any faces I've seen in awhile, even the Florida game.

His time is just past. He was a great coach when he first took over but as with anyone you lose your touch with age. Bow out gracefully and let someone else get us back.

Yeah.....just look at Joe Paterno.......and don't spew that crap that he's not really coaching these days. If he wasn't he would retire.....

...LOL at the last caller. Eric Berry for coach!!

Lol, my friend and I were watching the game, and when we felt it start to slip away, we were joking about how we weren't sure if we had outs. I then joked and said we had runner-runners if EB just completely balls out and takes the game over. We joked about how Phil could just completely turn the game over to him with all coaching decisions. Let him play as much offense as he feels he can, put himself in/sub himself out as he needs to, and just let him do whatever.

It worked for Texas with VY.

98,98,98,98,98,98,98 I miss anything? Oh buy the DVD.

I find it amusing that this year I have seen more promotions/praise for the 98 team than I have in the last 10 years.

The obvious explanation is that it is the 10 year anniversary. Still...part of me, in the back of my mind, always thinks it is subliminal messaging, subtle support for Phil. The same old rhetoric..."but he took us to the top, he got the NC in 98...he has a .750 winning %age" etc.

So, you can coach out of a booth with no headset? Damn, JoePa is even better than I've always thought.

he is heavily involved in the practices and the game plan has his full stamp of approval............smarta**

JoePa takes his afternoon nap during the second half of every practice. Also, how does giving a stamp of approval to a game plan mean anything.

Do you honestly believe JoePa has anything to do with the HD offense. I seriously doubt it.

Ah yes, my personal favorite keep Phil argument of recent times. Keep Phil because Joe Pa gets on his depends and is helped into the press box to drool while his assistants win games until either he or Bobby Bowden dies.
