Georgia has no chance against them. Georgia had their one shot last year with the best team they have had in 37 years. And came up short. I loved every replay of that soul crushing ending.

The only Bammer win I have enjoyed in years.

I hate bama, of course, my blood runneth orange....that said, nobody will play them closer than 2 touchdowns this year. This is the best offense they have had in Sabans time there. Guy i work with is a huge Michigan fan. He keeps screaming that they are going to the playoffs and championship game...i said congrats, yall get to get steamrolled by bama for 40 points IF you beat State Pen and Cryo state. The only way to beat bama and win a championship for the last decade has been to spread them out, beat them on the corners with great fast WR and good QB play...and outscore them. This season, they have elite WR and a QB who can throw it as well as anyone...oh, and out of their 22 starters, 20 will play NFL ball. Hate their stinking guts, but nobody comes close to beating them this year. Hope they lose a bunch of good players after this year

We're probably going to have to accept that we won't be in their tier until after Saban retires. He has roster depth, track record, facilities, prestige, admin support, coaching skill, and Carta Bus without brakes down Monteagle Mtn level momentum. There's no program in college football that would win 5/10 vs them . Its just where it is.

It sucks that it really could be 15-20 year streak over us. Wouldn’t be surprised one bit. Just glad I got to experience the 90’s when we owned them.

At the point they were up by 28, I felt like Saban started treating it like a scrimmage. But, maybe that's what Coach Pruitt was doing, too. Sure, he wants to win, but, realistically, it was an opportunity to watch his team to diagnose how they play and who can play. Maybe we will see more adjustments after the Bama game than we did after the bye week. I think SC will be a fun game. We'll see, won't we? Go Vols.

Its funny earlier today I was listening to PF, I know I know. And a "big" Alabama fan called in saying how stupid the lsu people are complaining about the penalty on white and saying the people making those decisions are smarter than everyone else because they are UA graduates, of which the caller was not. Funnier live on the radio than my post is im such.


Ive also always been curious as to why there are no ordinary Alabama fans. Why do they always refer to themselves as "big Alabama fan?" My guess is that it's to compensate for being an Auburn fan when they were good, but I dont know.

Your first mistake is listening to PF. He draws in all the fruitcakes as you should already know. I'm beginning to wonder if you might be falling into that category yourself listening to that garbage as like myself you already get inundated with that junk 24/7.

You came looking for negativity. My comment did not challenge the sincerity of the OPs post, but we heard the same about Dooley and Butch. It will nice when our coach is praised for results on the field and not potential. And just like the previous 3 coaches who heaped similar praise early on, I sincerely hope CJP is the guy!

Bama is a monster no doubt about it, but I too long for the days that built a rivalry that has since faded due to lack of competition. I can see us being competitive with anyone by 2021 given our current trajectory. We will play with Bama by then or when Saban retires... whichever comes first.

The same reason there are so many Tennessee fan talk about other teams. They are FANS. We have a huge number of Tennessee fans who seem to believe than know more about football than our combined coaching staff. Many are people who never played the game.

Yeah I agree on that statement. It’s gonna take another 3 classes of his guys to play HIS way and in HIS system. Not gonna be easy but if the wins start coming on a regular basis recruits will be lining up to sign on the dotted line :). I hope we send a statement these last 5 regular season games that next year we coming!! 2019 will be an interesting year and may ppl start to see the rise of TN football once again!! Go Vols!!!!
