Barnett goes in the first round. Kamara is a solid 2nd rounder - all six players featured have a good shot a playing on Sunday in 2017.

Let's wish our Vols good luck at the next level.

I feel like this will turn out to be a bunch of steals for whoever gets these guys. Sutton and JRM will certainly be drafted well below where they would have if not for their early year injuries. Dobbs and Malone are definite sleepers. Barnett and Kamara both get drafted where they pretty much belong mid 1st early 2nd.

I don't see Kamara going 1st round not because he is not talented enough but because RB does not have high value in the first round for most teams. Plus the injuries and the fact he never carried the load a full season. He reminds me most of Reggie Bush talent wise and playstyle and I think he has that sort of career in the NFL.

Barnett is a hard one to call because teams are wildy random on how they value edge rushers. I could see him going top team to a base 4-3 team that needs some pass rush and a guy to hold the edge. He is hurt because he is a full package guy that does not have the physical attributes that jump off the page. Look at him on tape and there is no real weakness in his game unless the fact he only really produced against the big boys is a bad thing? He and Myles Garret are polar opposites in both physical makeup and the way they got their stats. Everytime we were in a big game and needed a defensive stop it seems like barnett came up with one. \

No matter where these guys actually go in the draft, this has been the best group from UT to enter in a while IMO.

I don't really see Bush as all that great a comparison. The first guy that pops into my head is Brian Westbrook. Bush was MUCH faster than Kamara and that speed was a large part of what made Reggie who he was. Westbrook's 40 was 4.57 vs AK's 4.56 and both are of similar stature. More importantly their games are predicated more on quick than fast with good vision and explosive cuts. Both are very proficient out of the backfield as well. Westbrook, from the RB position mind you, had 5 seasons of more than 50 catches and in 2007 had 90. (yes, 90) Watch this and tell me what you think.

If not for injury issues Westrook's stat line would look a lot more impressive but that can be said for a lot of people unfortunately.

Just saw mock draft, has Derek Barnett 16th pick 1st round, Kamara in 2nd, Cam Sutton in 3rd, Josh Malone in 4th, Josh Dobbs in 6th (Browns)
