I can’t dwell on the Tony threads anymore, so new topic. I came to do a welfare check on our dudes at their scrimmage today. It seems a little more subdued than usual, but they’re getting the work in.

I think Frank or maybe Hunter High has the aux. The music is decidedly less bass-thumping than usual.

Abernathy ran into the visitor bullpen fence trying to catch a ball and hurt his elbow. Hopefully he’s not banged up too bad.

Josh Reynolds is likely next in line for that job, but I’d bet Kirby will make a good one some day too.

I think it’s to mentor both Josh’s and Kirby and it doesn’t hurt that he’s being well paid extremely well.

Anderson has been around for a lot of baseball games and is a good pitching coach. Good pitching coaches don’t lose their knowledge with aging. If Elander wants him, he will have a very good pitching rotation and bullpen.
