All I know is that my heart just isn't into baseball, and I'm just an old fan. I have a hard time seeing this team come out with a ton of fire. If the loss of Vitello hits us like this, can one imagine how it's going to impact the players?
Lighten up, Eeyore. It’s gonna be okay. 👌🏼 ✅

Although it may seem unlikely…. we might entertain the possibility that SEC-caliber athletes could be more resilient on this than you are cav, just maybe…

I can’t dwell on the Tony threads anymore, so new topic. I came to do a welfare check on our dudes at their scrimmage today. It seems a little more subdued than usual, but they’re getting the work in.

I think Frank or maybe Hunter High has the aux. The music is decidedly less bass-thumping than usual.

Abernathy ran into the visitor bullpen fence trying to catch a ball and hurt his elbow. Hopefully he’s not banged up too bad.

Hope to see some of y’all in Nashville Sunday. Need to let all of these guys know that Tony’s not the only one of them we turn out for. View attachment 784026
Thanks but I’m still miserable.

Question. At this point in his career, do you think Anderson would entertain the idea of remaining at UT if they did not hire Elander as the new head coach?
I figured he would have left after NC. I think there is a legitimate reason he is staying, but I’m not willing to share it.

You have a hard time seeing the sun come up tomorrow. Fortunately, our team is made up of stronger stuff.

Anderson has been around for a lot of baseball games and is a good pitching coach. Good pitching coaches don’t lose their knowledge with aging. If Elander wants him, he will have a very good pitching rotation and bullpen.

The sky is falling. It’s over. Let’s just throw our hands up and quit.
