Wait... He is winning? I guess enough to get a 12 seed in a weak conference...
Pastner can recruit, but seriously tell me you have faith in his ability to control his players and win on a serial level... super serial level? No way, he is in over his head at Tiger High. No way he is ready for a big time SEC gig! Hahahahaha
You're assuming McRae will be here next season. This would be a great time for him to transfer. Also, there was a reason CBP played McBee over McRae even if not obvious to us.
1) Stevens - He may be happy there, but a lot bigger salary might make him happy as well. I wonder what we can offer him above what he is making now.
2) Anthony Grant - Double bonus points for taking him away from Bama. If he is not happy there, maybe it is possible.
3) Bring in another mid-major coach with a lot of fire and ability. Give him what he needs to succeed and get out of the way and let him do it.
CoachingNewsOnline.com reported Tuesday that coveted Butler coach Brad Stevens is likely to remain at the school, despite the endless string of interested schools that are undoubtedly going to come calling once the Bulldogs' season ends.
...
If Stevens is ever going to leave Butler, there probably won't be a better time than now. But there's something to be said about loyalty, especially since it's almost entirely absent in today's sports world, and we're pretty sure many college basketball fans would love to see Stevens remain right where he is.
Gregg Marshall - Wichita St.
Watch them in the NIT, great D, disciplined offense. Has built teams everywhere he's been.
whats the realistic likelyhood that Lawrence Frank or Larry Brown would give up their NBA ticket for UT? People are on that bandwagon, and it has me intrigued....
