I know this is redundant and there has been a lot of speculation. But just to bump the thread, I am hoping that our next coach is Buzz Williams, Brad Stevens, orAnthony Grant. I don't want Lon Kruger.

Not so sure about Buzz Williams. Not sure why, but I'm just not excited about that possibility. He has gone downhill in each of his three years at Marquette.

With Mike Hamilton getting so much negativity lately, what coach would gamble coming to UT knowing that there is a good chance that another guy is going to be the AD? I think If you get rid of Pearl, Hamilton has to go before you can do some serious talking. I mean a guy wants to know who he's working for, right?

All three of these guys can coach. I think the unanswered question with all of them is whether they can recruit. That being said, I just cannot get excited about Kruger. Hopefully, he really isn't our top pick.

I don't know what to think about Kruger. I was too young to be seriously following things when he was still in college, and I don't follow the NBA (or MWC). Judging by his Wikipedia page, he's taken each of his schools to really great places and also had at least one WTF season at each stop.

Yeah, Ford and Drew are exactly the guys a program coming off an NCAA hidestrapping should look to. Why not throw Jim Harrick and Dave Bliss in the mix?
