Agreed. That's what had me intrigued. I think he would be somewhat of a risk because he hasn't done too much the last two years after 3 straight AA's, but ORU is one of those jobs you can't miss on any evaluations or it could set you back.

Who do you think is the most charismatic coach from that list? One of the things I liked about Pearl (and ultimately led to me defending him more in retrospect than I should have) is that he made Tennessee basketball exciting. I think that charisma and using it to inspire your players and fans is insanely important in college basketball... basically, I'm looking for someone to paint their self orange at women's games again.

What if Pearl does remain here and in a couple of years he commits more violations?
Then it will turn out that keeping him was a mistake.
If he has truly figured it out, then keep him on a short leash. If Hamilton and the powers that be, think that he hasn't figured it out, then let him go now and avoid future
embarrasment.

I would only call Bruce Pearl. Because he is staying here at UT!! We're gonna make a deep run to the Final Four and all will be forgotten!!

Sometimes you have to eat it for the integrity of the program. Pearl needs to go because there is no way he can save face. Tennessee is bigger than Pearl. Thanks Bruce for the memories good and bad. GBO!!!
