I really couldn't care less. I was just trying to bust your chops. With that said, you're kidding yourself if you think he wouldn't take the UT job if offered. I don't care what he said last year.

Still think Anderson and Marshall are the first two calls. After that I have no clue. I would be on the phone with Barbee, Lawrence Frank and somebody representing Jay Wright on the off chance that he would like a new challenge in a slightly less cut throat conference

I'd also make Pitino tell me no, which is a virtual guarantee to happen, but it never hurts to ask.

Most coaches say same thing. Buzz Peterson said it every 2 yrs, Coastal Carolina, Appy State, Bobcats, etc. Lane Kiffin said it, Will Muschamp said it yearly. Point is, they gotta say that, but when right job comes along, diff story. I would guarantee you that Shaka Smart wouldn't turn down UT and 2 plus mil a year for VCU.

Would be fine with Mack.Has strong Ohio ties, Xavier through and through so not sure he'd leave, but RichRod was all Wva and he left so you never know.

Anderson, Williams, Marshall....NO THANKS...they missed their opportunity!

Although I like Lavin, I'm not sure the timing is right. Does he still need to prove he can stay clean? Would it be a favorable move for UT in the eyes of the 'AA? However, I do believe he would be an excellent fit for the program minus any off the court issues. I'd offer him $5m! StJ, like Cincy, has plenty of shortcomings.

I definitely would go after Smart, Cronin (Cincy is a dump, even w/tradition), and Stevens too.

We should try for both of those two. Barnes would be hard to pull from Texas. Dixon would get a substantial raise if he came. Unless he is completely devoted to his school, we should be able to interest him.

If the 3 Mill number is put out there, there would be plenty of coaches, I think, would take a good look at UT...including Dixon, Barnes, and Stevens.

Stevens also is on the 'AA ethics committee.

No to Barnes, Kruger is risky, but a good coach. I'm sure he'd like to play the Gators every year.
