Todd McNair no longer has a job. Mike Garrett is unemployed.

The NCAA spent 4 years investigating Agent Gate at USC.

I've never taken up for Kiffin's character. I think he's a lying POS. I think he's a good coach that surrounds himself with elite coaches.

However, there is no reason to make stuff up. His mouth will eventually write a check his ass can't cash.

I think he probably had some type of hand in it, how big, I don't know. I'm not going to sit here and act like he's some angel based on what all just went down there, and what he has involved us in. Remember, Kiffin was the recruiting coordinator the year they won the NC, IIRC. O was the RC before that for 4 years. 2+2=4, right?? Kiffin is dirty, and his actions here pretty much tell me that he was in L.A. too. You don't all of a sudden become a dirty recruiter overnight.

The real problem is the NCAA, these rich old white guys just need to all die off. They continue to be a road block to anything truly great in CFB. Plus, I think Kiffin slept with some guy's wife at the New York Times. This is just absurd...

So, because he has obviously covered up his tracks better than Todd McNair, I am making stuff up?? Aren't his actions here enough to show that he probably brought the underhandedness from his former college employer?? Kiffin has been in the news for more bad pub than any other coach I have seen in years, yet he is still considered a saint at USC. That just blows my mind.

And we can thank Kiffin and O for the opportunity for them to do so. So, there is no outrage, just pissed because our former coach talked so loudly and did STUPID things, that he opened the door for the NCAA to come in and snoop around.

I don't think anyone knows if he can coach. Recruit , sure. Recruit without cheating? Don't know. I am reminded on a daily basis how overhyped he and his staff really we're. Infact today I was reminded that we only had one win on the road last year to a team that we had beat 24 years in a row. It took overtime to do that.

All that aside , I agree with everything else. Especially the last part :finger3:

No, the problem is we had a loud mouthed, gloating coach with no affinity for the rules. That's what our problem WAS, but the issues are still going to be here for a bit.

he sucked as a coach and and i never was sold on his recruiting.big names and large stars didnt add up for us!

add in the deletions (thought creer looked better than brown) he actually did more damage in the one year he was here than fulmers last 3 years.

You're assuming Kiffin went out of his way to introduce Bush to an agent his sophomore year on campus.

That's a stretch.

Kiffin isn't worried.

From the AP:
When asked if he was worried about the impact of another NCAA investigation, Kiffin replied: "Absolutely not at all. There's no way. I have great confidence in what we did there, that we didn't do anything wrong. ... That's (the NCAA's) job, to make sure there isn't any wrongdoing. Just because they're looking into something doesn't mean we did anything wrong."

With how truthful he has been in the past I see no need to worry.

I'm not really even talking about Bush, just the overall stinch he brought with him from USC. Pretty much anyone there during the Pete Carroll era, I would say is tainted in one way or another.
