I haven not seen this mentioned yet but I checked the weather report for this weekend...

Sep 19

Scattered T-Storms

87°
71°

40% of showers

Now, it rains a lot this time of year in Florida. Rain showers are common in the Gulf coast region (same here in Houston). I can only pray that the chance of rain increases to about 100% with a downpour lasting 3 hours.

The constant rainfall will raise the risk of turnovers for both teams but the obvious issue here is that it will even the playing field with UT/UF. A slick and drenched field will negate "most" of that team speed UF has.

Anyone else think of anything to help (besides the obvious about not starting JC at QB, etc.)?

The only time i can remember rain being of any help to us was back in 1992. Every other time the rain seemed to never hinder the gators from kicking our butts.

Yeah I'll never forget that game with all those botched quarterback center exchanges.........and let's face it, that's not exactly JC's strength.

Yeah rain is just what we need with a QB that struggles this much under clear and sunny conditions...

Florida played through rain showers this past weekend. So chalk this advantage up to Florida, if there's any to be found. Keep scrounging though.
