After reading all your posts, I'm pretty sure you don't know ****e.

Ok...

In that case - I was just gonna say congrats to your team getting a pretty good bowl despite the record this season as far as the good news goes.

Would you rather have 150K or 225K?

I'm hearing it is actually closer to 300K...I like CFW, but he'd be crazy to turn down the opportunity to go home and make double the salary. Best of luck to him if he does in fact leave. He did a nice job with our WR's--especially after the unit finally got healthy.

Don't be so touchy theVol...

Nothing wrong with conversing with fans from other teams from time to time.

Normally I am not, I just don't like our coaches being poached and then you come in with no clue. Sorry, ignorance is bliss I guess.

I understand....

LSU has lost quite a few coaches over the last 6 seasons now - from Saban, to Muschamp, to Pelini, etc....

Why this guy? What's his creds? Where all has he worked and for whom? There's alot of good coaches out there. If we do lose Gran, we need someone who knows Florida. With Wilson gone, we need someone that recruits LA good, and has connections there. Texas (Garza), Florida (Gran), California (Cregg) are states with heavy D1 recruits.

At one point, he was a state champion high school coach at Dunwoody in Atlanta. I would imagine he may have some serious pull in Georgia. Georgia's more important for UT in terms of recruiting than Louisiana is anyway.

Head coach at any successfull Metro ATL 5A school is as good as some Big 6 cellar dweller schools.

Talk of #Vols WR coach Frank Wilson to LSU is premature. He and family like it here, and LKiffin wants to keep him. No decision yet

Ga is important for us as far as recruiting, but for overall top tier recruits, it's not as big as LA nand especially the '11 class. LA is a D1 hot bed as we all know. Just want to make sure we have the state cover.

how long have you paid attention to college football? garner is the recruiting coordinator at uga and the defensive line coach. and yes if lsu gets frank wilson they will be getting a good one in my opinion. good, not great. He has major ties to louisianna and mississippi.

Don't feed the trolls....

It's much more realistic for us to consistently get top tier guys from GA than LA. No matter who we have recruiting the Bayou, we are not going to consistently beat out LSU for guys like Janzen Jackson. Doing it in GA isn't a cakewalk either, but it is much more likely. We did it in the 90s and it won us a National Title.

Football scoop reporting:

FootballScoop has confirmed that Tennessee wide receivers coach will be joining the staff at LSU under Les Miles. Our sources tell us Wilson did coach during the Vols first bowl practice this evening, but has accepted the position.

Tennessee: Our sources tell us will Frank Wilson’s departure, Tennessee head coach Lane Kiffin will likely*have interest in Central Florida running backs coach David Kelly.* Two Tennessee staff members including Lance Thompson*have worked with Kelly at Central Florida.* Kelly, a former wide receivers coach*(LSU, Georgia Tech,*Stanford)*has many years of experience recruiting Louisiana, Georgia, and Florida.

But Gran is about to leave we need a good replacement for him maybe Trooper??

I would be surprised if Gran left. He wanted to be apart of this coaching staff. We will give him a raise.

Since when? At this point, FSU has only asked permission to speak with him. I'm not saying he'll be here next year, but I think it's a little premature to assume he's as good as gone.
