Someone on here turned me onto the SEC COUNTRY TENNESSEE podcast. It's where the more positive vibes seem to be coming from. I loved today's interview actually.

You call that information?? I highly doubt that the rumor is true and if it is it's probably greatly distorted. 90% of the time this part of the year folks start false rumors, so I would not buy in so quickly. GBO!

If this were true major outlets would be on it. Rumors are like a snowball they bigger until the hit the end of the hill. Show me proof instead of people pecking behind a keyboard and folks with no sources except he said she said. GO VOLS!!!!

There are media members who act like they legitimately enjoy reporting bad news about the UT program. I continue to wonder how many other programs have to endure that from beat reporters

Of course they would love it. Bad news is what grabs everyone's attention. Whatever is making them the $$$, they'll report it regardless if it's good or bad.

It happens at every school, not just UT.

There are posters in this thread that act like they legitimately enjoy hearing bad news about the UT program.

I believe they do and will continue to do so until Butch is gone.

As well they should. I wasn't arguing one way or the other, just clarifying that he wasn't 'faulting' the media.

I know everything is just rumors right now but I feel no sympathy for players getting suspended for drug use. One time, sure, people make mistakes but anymore than once is stupidity.

I'm a marijuana advocate but the rules say you can't and no one can be upset with the consequences..

I for one, would love to see a game where players play stoned/drunk out of their minds but it's against the rules.

I looked at 247, the news feed has nothing. I didn't go to the message board, but if it's on there it is nothing more than folks talking about the same rumor. Bottom line there is no news anywhere that is reporting this as fact. GBO!!!!!

Just to verify, its mainly rumor now. I think everyone with people inside are trying to verify if this is even legit. Can't verify the validity, so no names gonna be named until

Unfortunately in my 13 years on Volnation my experience has been that these types of things turn about to have some truth.

In the meanwhile, I don't have a problem with the pot smoking or other crimes being committed in the program... but something needs to be done about these leaks. Its called loyalty folks.

I have looked everywhere and asked around and can NOT find anything on such a rumor..If it was remotely true someone like ESPN would be reporting something..They are VOL haters for life...Just relax and see what happens..My guess is nothing..
