Very possible... Georgia, at Alabama, then South Carolina.

Kind of makes me throw up a little bit in my mouth.

you speak the truth. This could be the worst season in years for Tennessee. I mean worse the 2005 and 2008. Does not mean I don't believe Kiffin will do well, but a lot of teams are up this year that have not been. The SEC is tougher now and we are just not ready yet. If we come out 4-4 after these three, we have a chance for 8-4, but if we are 2-6. I do not see 6-6

I love how everyone is "realistic" nowadays. What a pathetic fanbase.

Good Lord. I was at the game Saturday, and sometimes you would think people weren't cheering for the Vols. Boos left and right. What a joke. I was so happy to be able to make it to a REAL GAME (I go to every Georgia Tech game--and they're HAPPY to have 45-50,000 fans at a game) and be part of something special that is football at the University of Tennessee.

Some of you need to go back to the basics... Go to the Vol walk. Sit down and take a deep breath. Enjoy the atmosphere. Sing Rocky Top (yes, with "wooo!") Stand up while the TEAM IS ON DEFENSE. Go and cheer the team on WIN OR LOSE.

It's not like you complaining will change what is going to happen. SO GET OVER IT.

The sky is falling, the sky is falling, quick everyone find Fulmer and kick him in the sack for leaving us with the cupboard bare. Lighten up dude anyone who thought this year was going to be good obviously did not watch the team play last year. The talent this regime inherited was 8th out of 12 teams in the conference. Thank God we had EB and Hardesty or we would be even in worse shape.

I remember teams from the 70's that would make this team look good. I believe the gloom and doomers are alot of the younger fans who have not experienced back to back difficult times. No one likes to lose nor is it anything we should accept. Sometimes you have no choice but to cheer for your team and know in due time things will get better.

By suggesting a possibility of a 2-6 record, that doesn't mean I'm not loyal to UT and won't cheer for them.

I think we are all cheering for ut and trying to be realistic as well.
6-6 is staring us in the face so lets root for 7-5 and hope for better

I hope we go to 5-3, but have you guys seen Bama. They look very strong and possibly better then Florida. I don't think it is wrong to be realistic. We need to be honest, but that does not mean that when you are being honest you do not cheer for the Vols. 2-3 does not lead you to believe 5-3 with that schedule. Even if somebody does not think it will happen, that does not mean that don't want it to happen. I dare say every Vol fan would love to be 9-3 at season ends. Even the Fulmer lovers. Who does not want to be Bama when they are so highly touted? Heck a win over Bama or UGA is always great.

It does suggest that there weren't enough doom and gloom thread's started the past 3 days for ya so you had to start one of your own.

I think Stephens should be the starter, too (and I'm going to list the statistical reasons WHY). I'm gonna go make another thread......

Hell the mods have been working round the clock....merge,merge,merge,merge,merge

You realize reading threads is optional don't you ?

Yeah, but it is more fun to chastise others for the way they are.

You think you have the right to chastise someone for starting two threads on an internet message board which you disagree with? You don't know me, and I don't know you... which is why I don't personally attack you.

There's no reason for that nonsense. If you disagree, that's one thing... but what you're doing is just pathetic.
