1. Poole is a very good running back.

2. Justin Hunter did what a top rated wr recruit should do, go and get the ball.

3. Crowd was electric until it got ugly. In that weather, that was awesome to see. Crowd was rowdier after the delay. Also, guys running on field kept me amused for some of the 70 min delay.

4. We hung with a top 5 football team for a half, and I would argue we outplayed them for a half.

5. Lincoln made his kicks.

6. Good to see the young guys (Miller, Rogers, Hunter etc..) involved.

7. Chris Walker is truly a leader.

8. Grand scheme of things, largely considering SEC play, this game didn't matter. Although we are not very good, Bama and South Carolina have been the only two teams in SEC to impress me so far.

9. It's obvious with more talent that we can compete. I will not rag on our players or say the suck, but I think a cornerback with the talent we had 5-10 years ago would have easily made the interception that Evans missed.

10. It's still great to be a Tennessee Vol.

Me and my 6 year lost our voice from screaming last night.

Me too bro. I was one of the dumb ones that stood in the rain in the delay going crazy. But I was making sure section P row 31 was loud and proud. I do not regret it. The crowd was one of the best I have personally saw for 3/5 of the game.

Another note: Montori Hughes has looked great in the last two games.

Agree. He has been really good. Another note, I root for all vols. This year it seems like I get more excited for Gerald Williams than anyone else. I guess because I know his story and he worked his tail off just to get in school.

Well his inexperience showed last night with his head on a swivel. But having an inexperienced DT running wild in their backfield made me smile.

2 biggest issues:
We need a QB
depth on D (can't complain too much about talent)

It was my 6 year olds first game. I couldn't believe how rowdy he got. I'm so use to him not interested in anything ut football, but when he walked into that stadium last night for the first time.... He was won over.

It was my girlfriends first game. She doesn't watch football or get it.

We walked in and sat there about an hour til the game started. She started off with " the stadium is beautiful" and " this is a huge stadium" quotes.

Once the game started and the Oregon guy fumbled and we recovered, the crowd went insane, she turned to me and said "This is amazing!!"

The rain and delay came and I thought she would whine. But nope, she sit and enjoyed it with me and laughed her tail off as the students were running on the field.

As the game went on she said " this is so much better than on tv." I agreed with her.

Even with the outcome as it was and me kinda bummed, she absolutely loved it. Funny how a trip to Neyland can convert most people.

I bleed orange, and I think she does too now.

DT depth killed us in the second half. They were tired.
OL depth killed us too in the second half. Adrenaline ran out and they got tired.
Young secondary impressed me. Made mistakes but did well considering the opponent.
Poole will be an All SEC back by the end of the year.

My friend and I kept y10 going watching people getting arrested! The students really kept it pumped up during the delay. It was worth risking the storm to stay and watch

The crowd was incredible for the first half.

I think Oregon's offense even made the crowd tired, that was some lightning fast no-huddle they were using. I was having to yell to keep the section focused that they were lining up again.

+1. I'll remember this game for a long time.

My son is already to go back. He wasn't disappointed in the loss and was even heckling some duck fans. I was nervous the rain would kill it, but we both stuck it out and was well worth it.
