Now before you all jump on me for being too positive....I think GA will win this game 24-10

but TN has some positives that could effect the game.

Colquit back.....will help us tremendously because I think we will be punting alot

Cottam back...we love blocking TE's and he is the best we got...look for our run game to improve going forward

Wilson back from surgery...he is our best option at MLB

Stephens will get all the reps going forward....I look for him to improve weekly....

With Cottam back this week...we can finally use the 2 TE set will stocker and cottam... both block extremely well and catch well....that is the knock on warren...he is not a good blocker...hopefully the run game will be better this week

Hopefully the most productive back, gets the most carries. tho Foster has been a UGA Killer (6tds) I look for other backs to get into the game EARLY

My guess is that Arian has been sandbaggin for the year and is going to run dawg wild all over Georgia! Go VOLS!

well if the rumors are true then this is a must win for Fulmer. I look for them to throw everything including the kitchen sink at UGA.

Biggest positive I see is the final score the past two seasons. Maybe the Vols are a little bit in UGA's head and if Clawson can script an early scoring drive it might suck away the Dawg's enthusiasm?

I think that would be huge if we could get 7 off our first drive

They have to execute, get 1st downs and control the clock, win at the kicking game and special teams have got to make some plays........

I agree...I also think that if we win the toss we take the ball so we can set the tone for a change...I think if we can put one in the endzone first and early we do have a chance but like said before we are gonna have to play our absolute best and force UGA to turn the ball over IMO!

oh without a doubt..if TN can come out and score on the 1st drive I look for this game to be interesting

Foster has destroyed GA that is for sure...maybe he can do it again

GA's OL is suspect too...we have to put Stafford on his back or he will kill us

IMO.....
I think the players need to listen more to what the coaches are saying. I have my own inside source who is on the dang team and he told me that we have players on this team that think they are better then the coaching and they dont listen at all. He said that the chemistry in the locker room has not been real good since the UCLA game, but its a lot better then after the Florida game. He also said everyone likes Stephens a lot more than Crompton.

Everyone saw what Peyton Manning said right before the Auburn game..."I think the players need to listen to Fulmer and they will be fine"......BECAUSE THEY DONT LISTEN!!!! You have a bunch of guys who think because Rivals said they are a top 100 player they already have that I am a badass and I will start no matter what mentality!! It used to mean something to these players when you were a starter for the University of Tennessee and now its like they think since they were highly recruited they should be the starter.......YOU GOTTA WORK FOR IT!! The real athletes are the ones who bust their a$$ during practice and they listen to the coaches and do whatever it takes to get better. And with what I have seen so far I would not let but maybe 5 guys play every game on our team. Everyone else would have to earn their spot week end and week out! Fulmer needs to find some heart on that team.

I mean you can call it bad coaching or whatever but something has to change and players have to be held accountable for not performing as well. Some guys really need to step up!

yeah getting your senior punter/kickoff guy back.....or your starting MLB.....or your starting TE is not a positive at all

just saying......not alot of positives going into the game but these facts will help for sure

I think it would be huge to string together 3 or 4 first downs...

Positive was QB play on Saturday. Not great but better. Build on that and then commit less penalties.

Do you think Colquitt will get the start? Fulmer and the program will catch major heat for that move.

WesRucker...
Senior Britton Colquitt will “likely” resume his duties as the University of Tennessee’s punter and kickoff specialist Saturday at Georgia, Volunteers coach Phillip Fulmer said Sunday night. “We’ll see how it goes,” Fulmer said. “In practice, he’s kicked the ball off well. He’s our best punter. Right now I would anticipate him doing both.”
Colquitt is generally considered one of the nation’s best punters, but off-the-field incidents have soured his collegiate career. His latest setback, a February DUI charge, resulted in a suspension for this season’s first five games.
The fourth Colquitt to punt for UT was also suspended in 2004 after a series of alcohol-related offenses.
“I’m light as a feather right now,” Colquitt said. “I couldn’t be happier right now. This whole thing has been a blessing in my life, in football and every other part of it.
“I’m just glad to be back. It was hard not being able to be out there and helping my team.”

I like that we finally seen a perfect long ball TD pass for the first time in about two years. That was nice.

I bought it.... Nick should've been in there a long time ago. He was far from perfect, but he was putting balls on his receivers. Not at the cheerleaders.

...errr.. footballs that is...

stephens look really good to me...alot to build on at the qb spot
the OL disappointed and Foster had holes but is so dang slow.....creer could have turned a few runs into big plays with his speed

cottam back should help the running game because he is a solid blocker

Its laughable the talent we leave sitting on the bench when they could probably be helping the team. I guess phil feels loyal to these kids in some way. But to hurt the team because of it is another story. I like arian foster's additude. He for the most part has done all the right things and has kept his nose clean. The o-line doesn't run block worth a crap. It would make sense to me that if you wanted yards on the ground. You would put a back in with more speed. I just don't get, or maybe i do and refuse to accept it.

I watched at BWW and rewatched Sunday morning because I also bought and recorded the game.

OWH called it. He was hitting who he needed to hit. A couple of first time starter mistakes but overall a drastic improvement in QB play.
