Can some negas on here have some FAITH...I know lossing the last fews years and lack of admin sucks. Just have some faith in this guy until he gives a reason not to. The game is about jimmies and joes and great teaching. Evryone on this staff is a great teacher most are great recruiters. Lets let this play out before we fire him.

Please go back and review your post for misspelled words, etc. I agree we should support Coach Pruitt and his staff. This in turn shows support for the players and the University. All that hate and negativity will eat you up. I am sure the recruits we are competing for would rather come to an uplifting University than one that can't shake hate, gloom, and doom.

Huh? I've seen very little negativity. This is the most support I've ever seen on here for a new coach.

The negas haven't done there research obviously. Because if they have they would know Coach is legit. Plus this staff he's assembling will be better than any other coach we would have gotten. We're officially back to big boy southern football.

Negas gonna nega - and many are simply disappointed because their dream coach (gruden, petersen, jimbo, kiffin) wasnt the guy so they havent done the research yet on this one.

No guarantee of success but guy has been coaching championship teams in 3 different programs and was immediately picked to head up the entire D of bamma. Guy has been #1 P5 recruiter in the country for multiple years.

So idea how he will do but he has a lot less risky profile than someone like Jones, who had HC experience but only in midmajors, not the SEC. Pruitt has no illusions at all for what is needed to have a championship team.

I watched the presser and really listened. I now believe this was the right hire. There is one Nega who has come around.

I only need to know one thing. Have they updated the Jumbotron to replace that previoous individual with CJP yet?

Unfortunately, that is not as easy as changing out a picture frame at home. Quite a bit of very large, heavy and expensive equipment is needed for that task.

It will happen, but not as fast as a lot would like it to be.

Through this mess many good posters became negative at everything UT and coach Jones was doing....Some are having a hard time letting go of all the hate they enjoyed posting, but some are coming back to reality now....It does a peson good to feel positive, negative only hurts the heart.

Lots of love for Pruitt. I have no problem with him coaching those kids in the playoffs. I like how there's no deer-in-the-headlights look with Pruitt. Like Gundy, thats a man! Props to local media, solid efforts during news conference, insightful questions. With the spotlight on there was no babbling, bumbling, or fumbling with odd questions, everyone was clear, and concise.

Pruitt has been where the spotlights shine many times, though he wasnt the top dog. He knows what the job entails, the scrutiny, etc that comes with the SEC HC job and what is expected - championships.

I know UT's PR folks will likely disagree, but I suggest the three spots on the back of the Jumbotron be reserved for very, very special former Vols only. My choices would be: #1, the stadium's namesake-General Neyland; #2 Doug Atkins; and #3 Reggie White. If it's players only, subtract Coach Neyland and add Peyton Manning.

No current coaches should be up there in my opinion.

^^^^^This 115%. Getting our fan base off the ledge is tough I admit but after what they have gone through in the last 10 years screams for us to show results. I'm on the side this hire was and is a HOMERUN! I might be in a small majority here but 2 things, 1) I don't care and 2) I don't care. Flame away but this man unlike others showed me he controlled the PC and showed he's got the right attitude to lead this program back to greatness, had the players involved already on the team getting to buy in to what he's selling, and he has a never say never quit attitude.

I don't know about you but I for one will put my faith (money) to back him up! We are in good hands. He had me at the BELT story. The man knows football, looks like a football player, played DI ball, knows what it means, and has coached on the HIGHEST LEVEL in college ball. Flame or hate as you want but my money will back this coach!

We will have attrition,and that is to be expected but this coach is a tough minded, no excuse, win at all possible circumstances, while developing an EXPECT to win mentality. Don't settle for just HOPING to win but EXPECTING to win. This sets the ground core needed to build championship team IMO.

I'm ALL IN!!!!!!!
