We are in the running for a lot of good players with only 3 spots left. I think Some commits will be told to look at other schools. What positions do you want addressed with the remaining spots.

To me I would like to see us get 1 more JUCO OT. It fills a lose and creates competition.

Next has to be on the DL I think this spot could go to a number of players but I hope hendrix gets the spot. I want a great pass rush again.

Assuming noone else decommits the final spot would go to Josh M. But I wish we could instead pick up Adoree Jackson or Garret C we need more help on D for sure.

But what position are we most worried about filling with the final spots.

My dream would be to get Clifton Garrett, Josh Malone, Adoree Jackson, Hendrix, Berry twins. Ask a couple of commits to look else where.

I would love to have Garret, Jackson and Hendrix to close out this class. If we lose kameel Jackson I would definitely take Malone. I guess the Berry twins are still undecided. What do you guys think they will decide since we only have limited space available

They decided when they were born into the Berry family. Heard them interviewed and don't have any question as to where they are going.

I would say we have closer to five spots left. It doesn't like Kameel Jackson is going to make it in with the team because of some personal issues he's got going on, and I would imagine that Paulk is greyshirted due to injury; I do not, however, think that Dews will be greyshirted.

Being said, of the five remaining spots, I think Evan and Elliott are Vols all the way. After that, I'd say Malone and Hendrix are Vols, and that final spot will probably go to a JUCO lineman (McDowell or Gennesy) or Charles Moseley. It really just depends on how many kids jump ship between now and NSD, but with the fire that the Vols have lit, and the camaraderie that the recruits are building amongst each other, I don't see any leaving. Gavin Bryant seems like the next most likely candidate, but only because I hear his grades might bar him. If he also does not make it in, and we have that final spot remaining, it's kind of a first-come first-serve to Adoree Jackson, Clifton Garrett, David Sharpe, or a JUCO, I guess.

As far as positions go, WR is pretty well stocked up now, especially if we tack on Malone.

Same for LB, even if we lose Bryant. Mouhon, Weatherd, and Bates would be a good pull, and an addition like Garrett would make it a great pull.

With DB, I think we have the speed that Butch Jones wants, especially after Evan Berry steps in. Might pick up one more DB though.

Our biggests concerns are on the OL and DL. Hopefully mean Joe Henderson and big Lambert will provide some speed / push rushing off the end position, and Blair and Zeus will definitely help on the OL, but we still need some big bodies up front on both sides to swap in and out and keep everyone fresh.

If we can get ^ one of these, or all, then someone is going to be asked to look elsewhere. I think Hendrix is all Vol. Gennesy supposedly committed to A&M.

I didn't know that about Gennesy, thanks. Also, I don't think we'll get all those highly touted 5-stars. Jackson seems to be a Florida lean, Garrett an LSU lean, and Sharpe a not-us lean. I think Jones is probably banking on us not getting all three, but I guess if two or all of them wanted to step in, Butch Jones would offer the project players a greyshirt or ask them to look elsewhere.

Id take Jackson and Garrett over the berry twins. I understand Eric was a once in a generation type player. But they aren't Eric.

Well it's good to dream big!:)

My realistic dream is:
Garrett (because Thig has this one)
Malone
Hendrix
Mosley
Berry Twins
Lamin or Reed

Don't think he has committed anywhere.

Whoa whoa whoa.

You're right, they may not be EB14, but they have a spot on Team 118. You take Jackson and Garrett if they want in, and ask someone else to look around, not those two.

Poll results tell me voters are knowledgeable about what it takes to win in the SEC

DT then OL but RB isn't far off. Paulk getting hurt is a blow to us.

From a pure needs standpoint, I'm perfectly fine with not taking the Berry twins. I know we basically have to because of who they are but if it is just down to like 3 spots, I'm good with telling them no thanks, you should have committed earlier and taking a couple of DTs. Preparing to get blasted now.
