I've seen conflicting info in regards to N. Creamer, V. Wharton, and Elliot Berry.

If I recall correctly, Creamer wants to play WR but I've also seen him projected at LB due to his size.

Wharton is projected as a WR and return man, correct?

What about Elliot Berry? I've seen RB, DB, and LB.

Not sure about Creamer, although that would be a sick name for a LB lighten someone up, but I know the Berry's just need to be somewhere on the field to where they can meet someone over the middle....

I've heard talk of wanting to make Hurd WR because of his height instead of keeping him at RB. My nephew plays for beech which is Hurds high school team. He knows him pretty well and said that some people have mentioned it to him and he didn't like the idea too much.

I think Creamer will end up at LB/DE after getting an initial look at WR. As for Wharton, I think he'll end up a slot WR. Elliot Berry will end up at LB, I hope. Can never have too many LBs, IMO.

But who knows... I thought I'd see a lot of Paul Harris, Drae Bowles, Lemond Johnson, and Justin King this year and was wrong thus far.

Hurd will be a RB and he was start if not at the beginning of next season, pretty quickly during the season. Lane needs to get his head on straight and get out of the doghouse or he will get run right by by Hurd.

just talk from trolls trying to throw bad stuff in someone else's well, probably common in the nashville area

I had heard this as well. I attended the Beech vs. Gallatin game and there was a lot of chatter in the Beech section saying that Coach Jones had mentioned to him about taking on a hybrid WR/TE role but that he only wants to play RB.

We have so much skill coming in next year, it will be hard to keep all these great players off the field. Hopefully the Berry brothers will get lots of playing time next year, especially Evan at the Nickle. We need speed on D everywhere and it's coming.

That's because he's a RB.

I'd like to see Creamer at TE. Hurd will be a running back no questions asked.

Off topic but if we end up with Mosely, Malone, Reed, and either Garret or Jackson where do we finish in recruiting??

And he will excel in both roles IMO.

Not a doubt in my mind. Butch has told him the slot spot is wide open. Pig is good no doubt but Vic is just as fast and much bigger. Not a knock on pig at all he has really come around, I look forward to seeing Vic and pig lined up together.

I watched Mr. Hurd play part of one game - the game in which he was injured and I wasn't that focused. I don't know him at all -- but I can tell you I don't like the idea of him playing anything other than RB. That kid is the beastliest of all the beast Running Backs I have seen in a while. My background is baseball but - he had great body lean and balance - great leverage when he blocked and was always looking for somebody to hit. He will be a great running back for us imo. Kids a freak and will excel at RB in my opinion.

We had a big back at my high school that went D1 - he ran too straight up and didn't block anyone. For those reasons I knew he wouldn't make it at the next level and sure enough he was done after his freshman year. Hurd - running back - real deal - book it dano.

Think Eric Dickerson in Orange.

It's pronounced "Kramer", just like his daddy. Who, by the way was a big hitting safety and a nifty punt returner until he got kicked off the team for telling Johnny to "get the ---- off the field". Then he and Victor Peppers were relegated to being stars in intramural flag football.

Pig is our best offensive players ... Hes only gonna get better ... Nobody is taking pt from the pig

Jalen wants to play RB and he wouldn't have committed unless CBJ promised a fair shot at being in the backfield.

Wharton is a return specialist (and a dang good one IMO), slot receiver and possibly even a wildcat guy.

Creamer wants to play WR, but I just don't see it. Not because he can't, but more because we have enough receivers and could use his size at LB. Same goes for Elliot even though I know he wants to play offense. He and Creamer are also the kind of guys I could see running the wildcat from time to time. Not saying all 3 of those guys will run the Wildcat...just that I could see any of them doing it.

Actually, I could see a lot of guys running the wildcat. Dillon Bates does it in high school if I'm not mistaken and is pretty good at it.

And unless Daniel Helm puts on about 25-30 pounds, he will be a slot receiver since he is 6'4" and only about 215 lbs.

Hurd has made it clear that he wants to be a RB at Tennessee. And why wouldn't he be? He's an automatic 4+ yards every time he touches the ball. He will be a Jamal Lewis type force for us.

Hurd will be a beast at RB. Helm will put on 20-30lbs in his first year and another 20-30 in his second once he gets into the weight room and he will be a beast at TE. Creamer and both Berrys could be a LB or Safety and would make every WR in the SEC think twice about coming over the middle. Wharton could be a WR, wildcat QB or Nickle CB. If you are CBJ you find them a spot somewhere on the field and let them play.
