More players entering the portal, were happy to have them sad to see them go. But, if they and their families believe uts in their best interest? All the best to them. Come game day the TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS and the PRIDE OF THE SOUTHLAND BAND will enter the field and ROCKYTOP will be blaring! All is good, Go Vols!!!

Just wondering, if the mass exodus was because of Mickey D’s and eligibility being lost.

Next year is going to be really, really bad. I just don’t see any way around it. For UT’s sake, I hope schedules are normal and they can get 3 gimme wins versus the Southwest Oklahoma Tech’s of the world, plus Vandy, plus an upset or two to wind up with 5 or 6 wins. I think that would be a really respectable result after an offseason with so much player attrition and tumult.

Last I counted it was like 25.

You kind of need to separate from those being recruited over (Peterson)/not cleared (Buchanan, Bennett) verses those leaving due to current turmoil.

Only about 5 - 7 of these transfers/potential transfers are painful or hurt our depth considerably: Gray, Morris, Crouch, Johnson, Chandler, etc.

I guess that’s one way to look at it.

It will be interesting to see what our roster looks like to start the season. I am curious to see the numbers as this was a free year. My understanding of the free year is that those that decided to stay would not count against our recruiting class,so if you add the 25 from this recruiting class I wonder if we will still be close to the 85
