We only have 8 left now I believe. Kuhns, Seibert, Krenzel, Combs, Abraham, Ben Martin, Aiden Hayse, and Tate Strickland. Plus the transfer guys. As of now they are all RHPs which is the only concerning thing to me. Really need Mack plus 1 or both of the top HS guys that are lefties.

I think Ben Martin has hit the portal. Think he was the kid who reclassified and then redshirted. Already looking elsewhere.

I wonder if any former UT LHPs in portal make it back to UT. I doubt TN expected to lose several of these pitchers.

The optimist in me hopes that Tony could keep anybody that he wanted to, but I bet the conversation went like this with everyone except D-Loy.
Player: "I would like to throw weekend innings next season. What are my chances of doing that"
Tony: "I can guarantee you a chance to compete."

As I have told several guys who asked for advice, not just at UT. It is like breaking up with your girlfriend. You just hope there is a better one out there and it works. Big boy life decisions sometimes mean we have to take a risk and hope it works out. Sometimes it does and yeah, sometimes it is a bust.

Vitello has the number 2 class in country and was 1 last year. You do realize LSU is the number one program in college baseball? If you listened today you would have heard most of top talent are looking at both Vols or Lsu over anyone else.
