With only 34 roster spots now heading into next season due to the House settlement, and a top rated freshmen class coming in, I would guess we’ll probably be very selective in the portal now.

Does anyone know the current roster size for SEC play , I know we have several red shirts for different reasons and I don’t know how that counts toward our current numbers but it’s gonna be interesting to see how the new 34 roster limit works

3B: Newstrom? maybe
SS: Marin
LF: Portal (or Newstrom)
CF: Abernathy
RF: Portal
DH: Who knows

IMO, I think Chap/Bargo/Peebles get drafted later on and start their pro careers

Corey seager is a pretty terrible defender but still a big league shortstop, if the bat is good enough they do not care
