Pope: There Is No Hell

Its my belief, which doesn't make it fact, that if you think drinking alcohol is a sin, its a sin, for you.

Having alcohol affecting my life, negatively, consuming alcohol would be a sin, for me.

If Bob has never had any issues that affected him or his life in a negative manner in any way, doesn't drink enough as to cause him to get drunk and influence him to sin and doesn't believe it to be a sin, then I don't think it is, for him.

I believe this is one of infinite examples of ones personal relationship with God. If I have a close personal relationship with him and I'm genuinely honest with him, and more importantly myself, I'm absolutely sure he will "tell" me if what I'm doing is right or wrong.

Jmo. Tifwiw.

I have enough bible reasons too which makes it good for everyone.

He's 100% correct. The concept was born of heathen mythology and furthered by Donte. Souls cannot burn, if there are souls.

What????

heathen mythology

It’s biblical

Souls cannot burn
What observation and experiment led you to this conclussion

Watching the beauty of God's creation in action is a tribute to his awesomeness. IMO

Matthew 5:27-32 (KJV)
27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Just trying to help you out Hog. :)

Who wrote it?

2 Timothy 3:15-17 (KJV)
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Matthew 13:42

42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The Bible was written long, long after the concept of Hades was initiated by the Greeks or earlier. The Bible also has very few descriptions of "Hell". If you find some, please share.

If there is such a thing as a soul, it has no mass and, thus, nothing to burn. What leads you to believe that 1) there is a soul, and 2) it burns.

Also, remember that the men who wrote the Bible did not know that the Earth was round. They thought that it was flat and all of the heavens were above. So these guys are experts on everything? One of them wrote that Adam and Eve were the first humans and had two sons. How did the boys procreate? And how did Noah get dinosaurs on that boat?

Conclusion has only one "s".

No conclussion the Bible says the earth is round

Isaiah 40:22

22 It is he who sits above the circle of the earth,

Hmm, interesting that God keeps using that 'wine' word, don't you think...

Let’s go about this a different way. What do you believe? Are you Christian, agnostic, atheist, what is your belief?

Prove to me my Bible is wrong, shake my faith if that is what you are trying to do. I do not believe it’s possible

I absolutely agree

I’m open if someone can prove that I’m wrong I will be the first to admit it.

It wasn't a generic term in the 17th century. God wrote the KJV, as well, according to you. Didn't we already discuss this?

Good, then need to hash it over again. :) You already know what I think about it.
