I dissagree and Creer has proven enough to what carries he has gotten over the year and not many, you need to get your eyes cleaned I suggest for that comment. And also he will be the next best back there when given the right chance.
Welcome to the board :hi:
But Creer really hasn't proven much. The only time he really did anything was against UL-Lafayette in cleanup duty, and while he showed flashes during that game, he still hasn't proven he can do anything against SEC talent. I think Creer will be a great back, don't get me wrong, but Poole will be very good as well.
ok sry...but he still didn't do much.
Probably because he wasn't put into a position to succeed. Also, there was one time I remember where we had a 3rd and short one game and the play blew up before Creer even had the hand off and it resulted in a loss of yards. There were about 2 times where he was put in for an obvious/ill conceived play that everybody in the stadium new was going to be some sort of trick play or what have you because Cutcliife did a poor job of disguising that crap.
I hope Creer does. Although, on the flip-side, I would hate for Poole to lose a year of eligibility being 4th on the depth chart - even if he does get some carries. Having what appears to be 4 good backs, you wish that at least one of them would be able to red-shirt you know? But it appears that is not likely...
Being 4 deep at RB isnt very bad in the SEC, bad things could happen I remember specifically going into the game vs Notre Dame in 2005; I remember a quote by Fulmer saying that Corey Anderson would be getting the majority of the snaps at running back, I was livid. Fortunately it was Foster's debut.
Does anybody know if they burned his redshirt for that game, I want to say they did because I had never heard his name prior to that horrible game.
Maybe they could do the same thing with Poole.
KC going back to the old school avatar...I like it
I realize it's not a bad thing, but it sure would be ideal to have Poole for 4 years where he could have a more solid impact than this year when he may get 20 touches all season... I may be wrong and he may slowly bypass some of the others, my point is that "ideally" speaking we wouldn't have 4 RB's (all of whom are SEC -caliber it appears) and not have one redshirting... But hey, there have been worst coaching moves than playing 4 RB's in a season!

well it looks like he won't be redshirted then because hardesty will not go a whole year without being injured in some formI agree that it all comes down to how healthy hardesty stays. If he can go the whole year without being injured poole is redshirted. I really dont c that happening though and poole is used some on short yard situations and some screens.
