I have been one of his biggest critics of Poole and I know what us fans think doesn't mean a thing. But I have been very impressed today. Running hard and showing good vision. Still hope Lane can get some touchs to help his confidence after the fumble. We will need him and his playmaking ability. But impressive half by our offense and not so much by the D. Just missing too many tackles but the 2 fourth down stops were huge. We gotta come out and put 7 on the board after the kickoff. Go Vols

The offensive line needs to get under their blocks and make more holes for Poole to run through he is getting met at the line of scrimmage too often.

I agree tthey definitely do. Hopefully we continue to wear them out.

Much better this week. Bouncing outside a little and not just falling down after first contact.

Pushed the pile just now for the first, but O-line play has got to improve before they get to be a great running team. Poole is a good back, but he is going to have to make what he gets a good bit when they get to the SEC schedule. O-line play will likely be hit and miss throughout the season.

Wearing them down, like we used to. Don't abandon the run. Keep pushing. Outlast. I always remember them being a second half team. Cincy is gassed.

We have two good running backs, maybe three with Neal. Poole can hit a corner like nobody's business, and Lane is looking like our new short yardage workhorse. Our problem continues to be run blocking.

21 rushes 101 yards. 4.8 YPC, had a nice catch or two as well
