Vols Jr RB Tauren Poole: "When you put on this helmet, you're playing for everyone who made Tennessee what it is. That means a lot to me." - Rucker Twitter

"Before we get started, I would just like to apologize to Ole Miss for the celebration at the end to go up 52-14. I wasn't intending to kind of showboat or anything. It was just me and (Kevin Cooper) celebrating. So I would like to apologize to them, first of all."
- Poole before the press started asking questions.

Poole just goes about his business. One of my favorites as well, truly a young man that has battled through a lot and worked his tail off to be where he is.

I think he should have a good game the next two weeks, and am excited about him being back another year.

Poole will be playing on Sundays, he shows incredible vision and 1 cut ability, he doesn't have quite the vision that Arian has but he has that extra burst that Arian does not have....

Poole has been one of my favorite Vols over the last couple years, he's produced everytime he's had a chance, even if it was rare the last two years, he didn't whine, just waited his turn. AKA, Travis Stephens, Travis Henry, back in the day.....think we need to add another top back (Smith may be the guy), I like Neal...doesn't seem to have the vision of the great backs yet though. Oku has regressed, probably due to the wait gain...and Toney Williams hasn't shown anything yet.

This team is full of class guys. Poole is definitely one. Makes it even more important for these guys to win. You just want good things to happen to, and for, them.

Great win.

No direct knowledge but if I had to guess this is the type of player that CDD is after. Kids with talent and a sense of pride. TP is a fine young man IMO.

Poole is a class act and a stud for the Vols!!
One thing I have noticed about him, and I know a lot of running backs do this to an extent, but Poole, everytime he finishes up a run, he finds the ref and hands or tosses them the ball...everytime!! Kid just has a lot of respect.

Jr RB Tauren Poole on why Vols didn't quit on this season: "You can't quit when you're playing for something bigger than yourself."

Another Poole quote that was just before the OP's posted quote.
