Hell yes. Beats settling for another Dooley or Jones.
Pros: QB guru, great offensive mind, elite recruiter, Twitter Troll Master, hilarious, hates Saban more than any of us, will bring a competant staff, players love him, etc.
He was down on my list, but at this point heck yes. It'll be hard to find somebody to be the backup to Schiano, hopefully the next coach will not feel that way though. Maybe they'll see it as the fanbase demanding better from the administration, not as being a backup plan for Tennessee, and an opportunity to win over the fanbase. After all it appears that this was Haslam and Currie going rogue. If the boosters can override Currie and Haslam, just maybe they can influence a coach that they were not acting on behalf of Tennessee as a whole. Plus I think some coaches may actually see our passion and morality as a good thing. Maybe? Hopefully?!
Before all this mess no. Now given the circumstances yes if he would come. Due to the way this whole coaching search (or lack there of) and eventual backing out of the deal with Schiano has put a bad mark on TN.
