Tee calls the plays. Stop repeating that lie.

Tee has been a qb coach in college and is known to be a great qb coach. He even ran one of those qb consultation/training businesses.

Outside of one year at New Mexico, he has never once been a QB coach in his career as a College coach. So you need to stop lying.

Secondly, its widely known that Tee gets first and second down play calls.

SMH, Wow, how the uninformed have skewed views. Which also brings up all these Kiffin supporters that would want Tee as OC, SMH again. If they would stop and think, Kiffin calls the offense so Tee would just be a position coach so that analysis is dumbfounded.

Biggest difference between Kiffin and Tee arrangement and Les and Tee is that Kiffin has actually developed QB's.

Les got fired for the lack of developing QB's.

If Tee didn’t have a ring from UT then nobody would even be talking about him. And that ring has no bearing on his quality as a coach. I’m not sold on him being OC let alone head coach.

True, but Tee's big asset is recruiting nationwide now.

Tough call.

Les could stabilize and then set us up for a big hire down the road.

Mike could bring excitement and may compete for the East pretty quickly.

I personally voted for Leach because I don't know of any SEC teams that run his offense. Having to defend against it would be extremely tough.

Leach. LSU got better with Orgeron. Less was washed up. Leach took to cheap programs and .add them relevant. Right now Tennessee is a crap program, the worst in the SEC. Leach has done it twice already.

Last year, his first as oc, that was true. He called all the plays this year and they were better than last year so stop it.

So he has been a qb coach in college as I stated. Plus he is known for developing qbs.

Tee Martin - Wikipedia

Martin owns Playmakers Sports, a company specializing in sports event planning, quarterback training, and skills development[13] and is a college football expert on Comcast Sports Southeast program Talkin' Football.[14] He is a quarterback coach for the Nike Elite 11 Quarterback Camps, Nike Football Training Camps, and has trained many high school and Division 1 quarterbacks.[15] In 2008, Martin created the "Dual Threat" Quarterback Camp and Academy in Atlanta, Georgia.[16]

Stop the Tee misinformation campaign. Some of you need to drop your agendas.

Word was Tee only called plays on 1st and 2nd down. I don't think people are pushing an agenda, they just want the best possible coaches.

Ok, I can see how this is such a tough choice now.

Leach (certified nut case)

38-37 at his current job
122-80 overall (60% win rate)
1 Big 12 SOUTH title
6-6 bowl record

Les Miles (crazy SOB that eats grass but not certified)

141-55 (72% win rate)
8-6 bowl record
1 National championship
2 SEC championships
3 SEC western division championships

Yeah, I can see how this could be a tough choice.

There are currently only 3 active coaches that have beaten Nick Saban more than once: Urban Meyer (2), Gus Malzahn (2), and Mark Richt (2). While not currently active, Les Miles has notched 3 wins over Saban.

The word is wrong, people know it and keep repeating it. It is widely known that was last year and now Tee calls all the plays and the offense is better. Therefore, agenda.

Interesting that it's almost a 50/50 split. Those siting Miles time at OSU, they were a horrible program when Miles got there, 3-8 when he tooo over, and got them to 9-3 by the end if his 3rd year. He actually elevated the program for wheb Gundy took over.

Then he went 7-5 his 4th year. Leach took over a bad program on probation and never had a losing season at Texas Tech. He was 3-1 vs Miles with his probation ridden program.

as just a coach? Leach

However, I'd lean Miles because of recruiting and SEC xp.

would love either of them tho

I agree as far as Miles for recruiting purposes, although I feel like Tee would be a better recruiter here than Miles. I also believe that Tee would be a better leader here than any of them. Playcalling is ideally left up to the coordinators, so that wouldn't be one of the biggest deals to me moving forward. I also feel that Tee's leadership, charisma, youth, and respect that he has in the coaching ranks would allow him to put together the better staffs than any of our other candidates. I just feel like he is our obvious choice

I kind of like Les Miles, but the man has issues. Have you ever listened to him talk? Whoa. You can go on about their records, but people in Baton Rouge replaced Miles with Yaw Yaw, and a year later, fans are glad they did it. Fans in Lubbock still love and support Mike Leach. Fans in Pullman are extremely happy he is there. I have wanted Leach to be HFC at Tennessee for years. Lo and behold, a MOU was apparently signed. But no, enter the Great Pumpkin to punk us again.
