Not going anyway but I would encourage anyone with plans to be there to go and have a blast. Hopefully many people otherwise unable to obtain tickets can get in for a buck or less. I get slammed for blaming the fans for accepting mediocrity, but if folks don't want to look at donations and tickets as investments with some sort of meaningful expected return we can have Hoke or let's go P coach the squad into the next great period of 5-8 win seasons.

I have 2 season tickets. My sons are rooming in an apartment and are students at UT. I drive up from Alabama and usually sleep on their sofa and one of them (the one that forgot to put in for a student ticket) will usually sit with me. If not, I'll sell the pair and pick up a single.

4 of their high school friends are up for the weekend for LSU. That pushes me into a hotel. It's a night game, and could be cold and rainy. I'm tempted to stay home.

It's not to a conscious effort to protest, but maybe subconscious. This Missouri game tonight was hard to watch, and I watched it all. I just don't know if I want to put myself through another one of these. May just let my sons friends use my tickets and enjoy them and maybe the kids will have a little more fun without old dad on the couch.

I am going to keep my season tickets. Next coach we get might end up sucking like Butch is now. I was optomistic with each hire - Kiffin, Dooley and Butch. The all let us down, but I will feel the same way come season opener with WV.

Emptying Neyland doesn't send a message to anyone. That message has been received. It does let the team down, but at this stage, they understand it too. 0-6 SEC, yup crowds losing excitement. Energy is gone. It can be rekindled with a good hire for 2018.

Maybe if enough people show up they can raise ticket and parking prices.. after all.. anything is acceptable...

Botch doesn't win many conference games.

He's even gotten pretty shaky when it comes to beating up on the western kentuckys, mtsus, south alabamas, etc on the schedule.

Why fans keep trying to rationalize away the awful product on the field is a mystery to me.

We are 5 years into the Botch tenure. And this garbage is what we have on the field week in and week out.

I'll be there from Indiana and bringing a couple of my buddies that have never been there before. I'm hoping the atmosphere of Neyland doesn't change, but I imagine it will. There is nothing like going to a game at Neyland. I know if I was a senior player, I would be pissed that I have put all this work in these years just to have fans not support me. #GBO

You guys not going to Neyland are every bit as dumb as the idiots not going to NFL games because of Kaepernick and other players taking a knee during the national anthem.
