I'm leaning 90% now that it's Kendall Briles. He gets an interview and then all the sudden the news is Vols have their OC, just have to work a few things out. O-line issue most likely. If so this is the absolute best hire the Vols could make! Recruiting will sky rocket to play in Briles offense!

Because TN isnt going to take a chance on someone who they think had something to do with the Baylor situation. Sort of the same thing with Freeze. The ones that control UT football pulled their moral high ground BS amd didnt want him. Basically, it boils down to the TN higher ups dont care much about winning.
