Pruitt. HC's do not give that authority up. I'm sure he listens to Chaney and Weinke but no HC that you would even want relinquishes his authority to name the starter at the most important position on the field.
And as much as I truly like Pruitt... I think he's making a mistake and one that could cost him his job.
100% Chaney. You don't pay an OC what we pay Chaney and not let him make that call. Can Pruitt overrule...yeah. But he isn't the type of guy to do that unless Chaney was losing his mind.
No s**t , he may not overrule Chaney’s recommendation. Chaney makes the recommendation, Pruitt makes the call. You are playing word games that don’t amount to nothing. It’s Pruitt’s call or decision no matter how you want to word it.Again, just because he can overrule doesn't mean he will. The question is not who makes the final call, the question is who chooses the QB.
To be fair the question is who chooses the starting QB not who has the final word. We all know Pruitt is the boss and has the final say in all things. Many have said Chaney is the head coach of the offense. No s**t , he may not overrule Chaney’s recommendation. Chaney makes the recommendation, Pruitt makes the call. You are playing word games that don’t amount to nothing. It’s Pruitt’s call or decision no matter how you want to word it.
