I will watch the game and do support the team. Hope we win the last three and go to a minor bowl for the seniors.

I wish I could go but I will probably have to work. Their is no reason to boycott. All that is gonna do is make the fans look bad. People still need to support the players. They are still out there tryin for us(fans).

The 52% that aren't going because they had no plans to go in first place.....what is the reason? Just not season ticket holders?

The announcers had a field day with the UF fans leaving early. A bad turnout will just get us more negative press. Just sayin'. I'll be watching.

We will be there ( it will be our first game in Neyland.) However, We were going to be in town this weekend anyway.

A five hour drive each way is more than I want to endure to watch this team.

That's pretty much where I'm at right now...it's a four hour drive for me each way, and it's tough to justify that trip just to watch the dumpster fire firsthand. I'm not foregoing the game to make some grand gesture or statement of discontent...there are just plenty of other things I could spend my time on.

It’s about an 8 hour drive for me to get to Knoxville. The wife and I usually use our vacation time every year to go to games. We had planned to go to the Southern Miss game this year as well as the LSU game. Needless to say we’re not going now. I’m not spending any more of my hard earned money on tickets or UT gear until Jones is gone. We live right next to Southern Miss’ campus so we were really looking forward to seeing them play in Neyland. Oh well, guess I’ll watch it from home.

I'll be going. UT is recruiting my son (academics). Can't turn down a BBQ tailgate and game for $20. With any luck, Currie will grow a pair between now and then.

Please, They aren't a little league team. If you want to support the players then watch them on TV the way the majority of Tennessee fans do.

I haven't been to Neyland since the Georgia 2001 game and yet I have never missed a game!

#EmptyNeyland

I avoid stating opinions on this board because everyone gets slammed regardless of what they are. Civility is lost so I expect to be lambasted for what I am about to say.

But this topic boils my orange blood.

Having attended games for more than 50 years -- Southern Miss will be my 335th Tennessee game -- through thick and thin, I will attend every game that I can until I die because I am a fan of the University of Tennessee and the men who wear the Orange. I will in Neyland if I am the only one.

Call it what you want -- blind loyalty or stupidity, whatever. I call it being a Tennessee fan. Sure, I don't like losing and don't tolerate losing well at all. But the Vols are my team and represent my school. For me #EmptyNeyland is something that only an opponent would think of. It makes me angry but more sad than angry that someone could even come up with this.

I have about a 6 hour drive one way, it will be about 12hr round trip. I have not been to Neyland since they played UTC. I have my wife, and 7 friends coming along the 12hr round trip.

I am not excited about the game, in fact really embarrassed. I talk about the Vols and Tennessee all the time. My friends will not see the Neyland I remember. I love the Vols and would brag about Neyland and how it rocks, then we have bj.

We are a dumpster fire right now. I am not sure how Knoxville will be Saturday night. Will there be drunk zombies roaming the streets or will the place be eerily quiet?

Well we rented a cabin and hopefully the mountains aren't too scarred from the fire. At least the Smokey's will not disappoint.

Go Vols!

Yes. I have 2 sets of season tickets and I hate to waste them. I will not buy any concessions though.

The future wife wanted a fall wedding. The Southern Miss game was the best of the dates I could choose. Seems like I somewhat lucked out. Thankfully it's a 3:00 wedding so I should be able to watch as much of the game I can muster.

Couldn’t have said it better! Can someone tell me the definition of a fair weather fan?
